Great tour of the Edinburgh must sees - if you want to see the castle, Palace of Holyrodhouse, AND the royal yacht Britannia, this is the tour for you. Great guides with information about all of Edinburgh, easy location downtown and the fact it is over 48 hours is a big bonus. You will want 2 to 3 hours at each of the above and too hard to do all in 1 day.

Book directly with hop on hop off - This hop on hop off was fabulous, however, you can book it when your ready right at any stop, there are people always there. I personally would recommend the green route if you are picking one as it’s a live person giving the tour rather than a red route that only has ear buds. We purchased the bus with the tickets to the castle, the yacht tour and the palace. You MUST make a time reservation for the castle which gets sold out pretty quickly. Money well spent!

Great value! - Great way to see the city! We got the Royal tickets which included guaranteed entry to the castle which was a huge help after seeing the massive line of people trying to buy tickets. Also included the beautiful Holyrood Palace and the Royal Britannia. Well worth the money!

Worth every penny - We splurged and got the Royal Tour ticket, which we absolutely did NOT regret, because the trip outside the main tourist area was so great, it showed us another part of the city that we wouldn't have been able to see on foot. The options of all three routes was awesome, the service was great, there was always a bus available, we never had to wait long, and the audio guide or the in-person guides on the buses made the trips even better! If you aren't interested or able to spend spend your entire time in Edinburgh walking, this is your only and best choice!

A great way to start your visit - Don’t do Edinburgh without this experience. You’ll gain so much information on the city and available attractions. We purchased the 48 hour pass which is well worth the price. I preferred the red line over the green line, so we used the red and blue lines. Of course you can’t wait until the on/off Experience to book hi demand attractions like the Edinburgh Castle.

Excellent and knowledgeable drivers - What a fun time riding on this blue line! Informative tour information gave us a wonderful overview of what we were seeing. Street construction was difficult often on our tours to see what was being shared, however understandable in a city.
