A fabulous Gorilla trek experience! - I researched a good number of gorilla trek tour operators and chose Trail Trek Africa. So glad I did! Booking was easy and efficient. Confirmation with sent immediately. A few follow up emails to ensure we were in sync for the big day. My driver arrived on time with water and snacks and lots of great information. The 2 1/2 hour drive to the visitor center was seamless and enjoyable. Once there, my driver took care of everything, including assignment to a Ranger group, renting walking stick and gators, etc. After one of the most amazing experiences of my life, he was right there waiting for me, and drove me to a fabulous lunch nearby where I met Peterson, One of the three owners, who is delightful. This is a compact owned by 3 young entrepreneurs who really have it together and aim to please, and they take credit cards! I highly recommend!

Fabulous trip with the Mountain Gorillas - Wonderful trip with Robertson, was lucky to be in the right place next to the trail and twice the Silverback and troop moved right passed me…..great trackers and guides. Ensure you have clothing that can withstand stinging nettles…..strong garden gloves and hiking boots that can grip with climbing will help

Incredible experience with Robertson visiting the Mountain Gorillas - An experience of a life time. Robertson guided me through the gorilla permit process to make sure I applied on time. There are limited spots and only eight people per gorilla family. He advised on what to wear , tips for porters (only $10 and highly advised as they carried your backpack and helped you on the tougher spots on the trail. He arrived on time in a new land cruiser loaded with water and snacks. The lunch afterwards was delicious at what appeared to be the best place in town. He responded quickly in the days and months prior to all my questions. It was an incredible experience and well worth the price. I found him on viator and had consulted many companies before settling on him. Others wanted my credit card which Viator advised against as they had secure handling of your card

Visiting the gorillas was a fantastic experience and Peterson was great part of that! - Visiting the Gorillas in the Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda is a very privileged experience and Peterson was a great part of my one-day round trip from Kigali at the end of a work trip to the city. He was happy to discuss a wide range of topics during the journey and was very informative. Peterson made all the arrangements with the park authorities on the day and we were very lucky to see the gorillas after a reasonably short walk so had time to visit the Diane Fossy museum, have a nice lunch in town and pay a visit to the local market. I loved the experience of visiting the gorillas. If you are fortunate enough to visit Rwanda and can visit the Gorillas, I highly recommend Peterson to be part of your adventure.

Amazing gorilla trek transfer - Peterson was an amazing tour guide! Offered advice prior to my trip, and was incredibly knowledgeable of Rwanda. He picked me up promptly, at 4am from Kigali, and was conversational but also appreciative that I was super tired at that time of day. He had snacks in the car, and tokm me to the starting point of my gorilla trek. After 3 hour hike I saw an entire family of Gorillas, one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Afterwards, we had lunch and after telling Peterson I'd never tried banana beer he went to the shop and brought me one! I cannot recommend Peterson enough!

Incredible!!! Peterson was an amazing guide who thought of everything and was very accommodating to our requests!! - Peterson was amazing, accommodating and flexible. We had an amazing trip with him. He worked with the hotel I wanted to stay at, and made sure to think of all the details. As the trip planning progressed, he was quick to suggest different ideas that I hadn’t even considered! We saw the gorillas and had smooth trip to Uganda, and he suggested a boat tour and coffee tasting experience, both excellent. He was really able to work within our constraints and requests, which was so appreciated. When I felt sick after staying at the hotel, he went and bought medicine for me! He brought so many snacks too. I would completely recommend him and trust him!

Trek of a Lifetime - A brilliant transfer service from Kigali to Volcanoes National Park for the gorilla trekking. Peterson was really helpful, on good terms with the guides at the park who take you on the trek, and great company.
