Mystical, enjoyable, and stress-free tour of Jiufen and Shifen - Just had one of the best experiences of my life on a half-day private tour to Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall & Pingxi Sky Lantern. Our guide, Steven Huang, was exceptional, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable journey throughout. Starting with the majestic Shifen Waterfall, dubbed as Taiwan's Niagara Falls, we captured stunning photos from the four decks. The sky lantern experience was magical as we inscribed our wishes and released them on the railway tracks. Exploring Yin Yang Sea, Jinguashi 14 ruins, and the Golden Waterfall, though not as captivating, added to the overall adventure. However, Jiufen stole the spotlight with its charming old street and historic architecture. A visit to an old movie theater and tasting Taiwan beer, especially the mango-flavored IPA, was a delightful surprise. For dinner, the option provided by Steven at the traditional teahouse exceeded our expectations. Navigating through a graffiti-covered hole in the wall to reach 芋仔蕃薯 (Yu Zi Fan Shu Teahouse) was an adventure in itself, culminating in a memorable dining experience with a breathtaking sunset view. As night fell, the lantern-lit alleys of Jiufen transformed into a mystical wonderland, concluding an unforgettable day full of exploration and discovery. #TravelTaiwan #MemorableExperiences

A Memorable Tour, A Lovely Spot - Everything was personalized and memorable, I especially enjoyed seeing the beautiful temples in the countryside. The waterfalls were lovely, and my tour guide made sure that I understood everything I saw. He even gave me a tutorial on tea when I told him I didn't have enough time for a tea tour.

Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall & Pingxi Sky Lantern is a must and Nicoals as a guide is 5 stars. - Nicolas is amazing. He was kind and helpful from minute one. He provided insight on the tour we were doing but so many helpful suggestions on other things we could do to enjoy our time in Taipei and all-around Tawain. He picked my daughter and I up promptly from our hotel and safely transported us to our sightseeing adventures. He drove us to a local breakfast place and ordered us traditional breakfast so that we could try it. The meat bun was delish! He was extremely knowledgeable about Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall & Pingxi Sky Lantern. He was always one step ahead of us and making sure we had the best time and even carried our shopping bags. I highly recommend him. You will have a great time.

Best trip to see Taipei surrounds - Great way to see highlights outside of Taipei. Henry was knowledgeable, engaging and adapted the activities to focus where we were most interested. Even my teen son loved it. Highly recommended!

Great tour - We had a wonderful time on this tour. Ted was very informative, friendly and helpful. Jiufen old street is so worth the visit! Just know that if things are delayed due to traffic or any reasons, there are extra costs per hour the tour goes over 6 hours.

Good tour that Paul made great. - The locations visited were as described in numerous reviews elsewhere, but Paul who was our driver and guide made this tour a great one. He was chatty , informative and entertaining with an in-car entertainment system that will keep any fan of 80s and 90s MTV happy. I was with my young son and appreciated Paul’s safe, but still keeping us on time, driving style too. Thoroughly recommended.

Amazing experience with Vincent Lee - Incredible time with Vincent Lee. Highly recommend requesting him as your tour guide. He is a local and knows all of the best spots for pictures. We had a romantic day seeing the sights of Taiwan and capturing beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.

Delightful experience - A perfect tour to get away from Taipei to see some treasures of the nearby countryside. The shifen waterfall and Jiufen village are absolutely worth visiting - Jiufen street market in our view more interesting than the street markets in Taipei. The absolute highlight however was the deep care, spot on humour and elegant knowledge and wisdom sharing of our guide Aaron. We felt like travelling with family.
