A special experience-highly recommended - We had a wonderful time on this trip out from Taipei into the hills. Our guide Jimmy Lim was brilliant. He was really warm and welcoming and gave us loads of fascinating background on Taiwan. The lattern festival was a unique and brilliant experience. The waterfall visit really nice. Juifen is busy but really interesting. Check the weather it can be wet and chilly up there when nice in Taipei. Overall would highly recommend. Even though we only had 3 nights in Taipei we are really glad we did this. It was a really special day.

Magnificent waterfalls and best tour guide. - The town of Jiufen is very very crowed and touristy. Spend less time here and more time at the waterfalls. Chico Chico was the best tour guide!!

Highly recommend this trip for a taste of Taiwan - Amazing trip and Jackson was an amazing guide, really went above and beyond to make our day special. Its a great way to get a taste of Taiwan other than the big city.

Amazing Service - Vincent Lee - My partner and I could not recommend this tour more. The service is so personalised and they go above and beyond to ensure you get the experience you want. Our guide picked us at our hotel and we started with Jiufen and Pingxi, our guide brought us to all the popular spots making sure we got great seats in any restaurant we went to and made sure we got great photo content. He even helped us to take photos in all the spots we wanted. I had an unfortunate fall when we arrived to Shifen and hit my head on a wall. Our guide Vincent was just unbelievable, he brought us to a close town and got me straight into a clinic to be seen. Normally when abroad something like this is very scary but I felt very assured and in good hands. Not only did he make sure I was okay after dropping us back to the hotel, he came back later with some fruits that we had discussed while on the tour to make sure I was okay. I cannot commend him enough for his service and feel very blessed that he was my guide on this day. He was a true gentleman and I must say you are very very lucky to have him as a guide. Regardless of the incident we had a really enjoyable day embracing the Taiwanese culture. The tour was very informative and was everything you would wish for.

Interesting day - Henry was a great tour guide. He could answer any question we asked about Taiwan. We had a nice lunch and enjoyed getting out of Taipei city

Shiefen and Guo Fen tour - The English speaking guide was an excellent tour guide. Detail oriented and took care of us. He showed us the places to avoid tourist traps and had a very extensive knowledge of Taiwan's history. He also is a natural foodie and can show you where to taste the best local foods.

Interest tour - My guild is Hwang is knowledgabe about the tour and Taiwan history. It is a raining day but he make it interest. He also return my umbrella the next day

Many many steps! - Our guide James from yolo was excellent, English was fair but very genuine. My wife enjoyed the day. Viator needs to explain the tour better. Having said that it was a comfortable day with our own driver and car

In spite of the weather... - In spite of the weather (rain and slippery walkways) we had a good experience in visiting the stops our tour guide brought us to. We loved the lantern flying, the two waterfalls and the town of Jiufen. This tour would be perfect in the spring when the trees and flowers are blooming.
