Don’t miss! - The Maasai were extremely welcoming and friendly during our visit. It was an unforgettable experience to see how they live day to day. The Chemka Hot Springs is in a beautiful location and the swim was a magical place to cool off on a hot day. Our driver Anton is a sweetheart!

Visit with Maasai - Wonderful Maasai experience!! Must do for anyone wanting to experience real Africa! We got to eat with the Maasai, dress like them, dance with them and learn the finearts of fire building without matches and spear throwing. So much fun!

Great Tour in Moshi - Milton was our driver for the day. He was very informative about our day trip. He was very kind, professional and patient for us to change into proper foot wear. We had a wonderful time meeting the Maasai tribe! Raphael was our guide within the tribe meeting. Everyone was welcoming! Enjoyed the “Hot”Springs. We did not swim but they offer swim wear (larger size) , and floatation tubes for rental. Lunch was tasty. Be aware bush toilets on the premises only. Highly recommend!

Unforgettable Journey Through Tanzania - My experience in Tanzania was nothing short of extraordinary. One of the highlights was meeting the Maasai community and attending a traditional wedding. This immersion into the Maasai culture was unforgettable, as I witnessed their customs, vibrant attire, and unique rituals. It was a rare opportunity to connect with their heritage in such an authentic setting, leaving me with deep respect and admiration. Exploring Tanzania's breathtaking landscapes was equally captivating. From stunning waterfalls to serene countryside, every place we visited offered something incredible. My guide, Mpemba, enriched the experience immensely. His deep knowledge of Tanzanian culture, history, and ecology brought every moment to life. Mpemba also introduced me to the country's diverse flavors, from traditional dishes to local fruits. Each meal became a journey of discovery, with new textures and tastes. Mpemba's passion for his homeland and his eagerness to share it with others made this trip so much more meaningful. His insights allowed me to see beyond just beautiful scenery – I gained a genuine understanding of Tanzania’s vibrant traditions and lifestyle. This trip was truly transformative, thanks to the warm, welcoming people and Mpemba’s unforgettable guidance. I’m already dreaming of my return!

Great day out - Excellent day out with a kind and courteous driver. I was joined by a couple and together we visited the Masai people and joined in with traditions such as dancing and spear throwing. We learnt interesting facts about their culture and daily life. The second part was a great lunch near the hot spring followed by a swim and some rope swing jumping. Great atmosphere at the spring, locals were there too and everyone was friendly. The drive is long along a bumpy road, so if that isn't your thing you may want to reconsider. But highly recommended otherwise.

Worst trip ever . Don’t waste your money - By far the worst experience I have ever had. First of all , the driver stopped at a gas station to fuel. He started fueling the car while the car was still running.!!! With me inside !!!!. I told him he has to turn off the car when fueling as this puts everyone at huge risk. !!!! You never keep the car running while fueling. He didn’t turn off the car and said ( it’s ok, nothing will happen). Then we went to the Massai tribe. People were in my face the whole time. They treat their animals very bad . Baby goats who are one week old with their umbilical cord still attached, tied up in dark rooms crying for their mom. I asked where was the mom? They said she is grazing with the other goats and will be back in 12 hours. So the baby goat is tied up for 12 hours until mom returns!!! 12 hours with no food or water. So cruel and crazy. Then we go to this place called ( hot springs) it is cooooolddd. It is just natural spring water. It is not hot springs. They told me I have to wear the floating device but ( forgot) to tell me that it is optional and I have to pay rent for. I totally felt that I was taken advantage of. Horrible trip and not worth the money. Don’t do it.
