Fantastic experience - I spent two nights in the park with a full-day safari in the middle. I had a private vehicle and driver from Kigali. The journey from Kigali starts on tarmac roads and the mud roads to the park are reasonable. The hotel on the park is quiet but has a pool and great grounds, including hundreds of nesting weaver birds. Food and prices are reasonable. The safari was brilliant. Clementine was a friendly and informative guide and I managed to see most of the species on the park. The road on the park are challenging and very bumpy, but that just adds to the fun! The overall costs including the car, hotel charges, park fees and guide fees are moderate, but as an experience I can definitely recommend this safari.

Akagera National Park - I've enjoyed very much. The lodge accomodation was perfect, the gamekeeper did everything to find the animals to see.
