Phulchoki Hill, the highest among the hillocks surrounding Kathmandu Valley, is located in the southeast portion of the valley. A hike on the upward trails through verdant vegetation presents numerous opportunities to observe various native and migrating bird species, along with picturesque views of the hilly outskirts. Phulchoki hill is not only renowned for its breathtaking views of the Kathmandu valley, but it also provides vistas of adjacent districts like Kavre. From Phulchoki, one can behold a panoramic view of various Nepalese hills and the eastern segment of the Annapurna range. Once done marveling at the scenic beauty of Phulchoki hill, we descend to Godawari via a jeep ride. We can also spend time visiting or exploring the Godawari Botanical Garden on our return journey to Kathmandu.
