Fansipan Mountain - Tram Ton Pass to Fansipan and back
Distance: 24km – Duration: 10-12 hours
Fansipan is the tallest mountain in the Indochina peninsula, standing at an elevation of 3,143 meters. This challenging day trek is suitable for experienced hikers. The one-way distance is 12 km with an elevation gain of approximately 1,400 meters, taking a total of 10-12 hours to complete.
Start your day with an early breakfast on your own. At 6:00 am, we will take a car or scooter (if solo) to Tram Ton Pass, which is 2,000 meters above sea level and the starting point of the trek. The trail passes through bamboo forests, ancient trees, vibrant flowers, and picturesque streams. We will have lunch en route at a campsite located at 2,800 meters. We aim to reach the summit around noon or 1:00 pm, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of Sapa town and the Vietnam-China mountain range, perfect for capturing unique photos. You have the option to take a cable car back to Sapa around 2:00 or 3:00 pm (cable car ticket not included) or trek back the same way to Tram Ton Pass and return to Sapa town by car, arriving between 5:00 and 7:00 pm, depending on your pace.
