Breathtaking landscape - This hike was amazing. We had a really good time hiking around in total about 5 hours with a super delicious lunch break in between. Our guide was super friendly, helpful and explained us alot during the hike about the culture, flora and fauna. The hike itself was sometimes a little tough due to the heat and deep slopes, but so worth it. We saw rice terraces, bamboo forests and passed some villages. We really enjoyed the hike. I can totally recommend it. I took so many beautiful pictures during the whole hike.

Fantastic tough trip, great experience - Fantastic trip done together with Guide Sai. It was exciting, some parts very steep and slippery but we would not have missed it... By the river (shoes and socks off) to get to the other side. Eating at a local tribe. Beautiful views of the rice fields. Highly recommended! Sai thank you very much!:) Marc and Petri

So so beautiful. The trek and guide. - I’d hoped to climb Mt Fansipan but it was looking very misty so I decided to change to a tour of the mountains above and around Sapa including a visit to a Hmong village. So was my guide and we were joined by a couple from Spain who would be doing a two day trek. We set off from the office in the middle of town and walked through the streets of Sapa before exiting via a small laneway directly onto a path which climbed up the hillside through low bush. We kept ascending (probably 400 mt overall) walking through corn fields and several large crops of marijuana (of the Hemp variety) until we reach a ridge line from which we had a splendid view of Sapa. All the while, So was explaining the local fauna, her family history, providing information about her village, the Hmong customs and Vietnamese life in general. Walking along the ridge we gradually entered into a large valley and from our high position could see many small villages dotted along the valley. We arrived at So’s village (900 people) and had a simple lunch before beginning our descent through a bamboo forest and many terraced rice fields. At about 4pm we arrived at a Homestay where I departed the tour leaving the couple from Spain and So. A taxi ride back to Sapa was included in the price of 875,000dong.

Wonderful guide and great company - When weather was horrendous for 1 day Mt Fansipan hike, TTS quickly organised a wonderful walking trek through valley and H’mong villages. Guide Ly stopped more often than any other guide to explain and highlight points of interest so it was really worthwhile.

Amazing day trek with So - The 1 day trekking tour was the highlight of my Sapa trip. My guide, So Giang was amazing, she speaks fluent English, shared her culture and was very knowledgeable. She’s able to answer all the questions we had about Hmong culture and share their way of life. She took care of us through some slippery and muddy trails. She’s always so smiley and has great attitude. The tour took us to Y Linh Ho-Lao Chai-Ta Van. Coordination was great pre trip too and pick up was at the hotel. Lunch was included as well and was delicious. Highly recommend So!
