Must do 3 day trek - Lang was our guidon a 3D2N trek from Sapa out into the countryside. Our group started with 11 trekkers but som were one day trekkers and some were 2 day trekkers. I would definitely remember 3 days if you have the time and energy. By day three it was just Lang, my husband and me. Three days out gets you away from where most other trekkers are headed. Most of the day we saw only local people and experienced more beautiful landscapes. The trek starting Sapa and by the time you start to develop into the forest there are local women there to “help” you along the trail and to sell you there wears. Lang told us this would happen and I had also read about it so had planned to use the opposite to buy gifts for friends and family since we weee at the end of our Vietnam trip. The trekkers was a bit more challenge on the 2 day because it was more up and down through bamboo forest and across the rice paddies. You need to be completely scrambling at bit but Lang was always there to help. Definitely go for 3 days if you can manage the time and trekking. We had more time to chat with Lang and take things a a comfortable pace for folks in their early 60’s. The home stays were comfortable and always had a hot shower after a day of trekking. While the landscape is stunning what made the trip truly memorable was Our guide, Lang. She was open, friendly, funny and shared about her community and family to give us a greater appreciation for the people and the landscape.

Amazing 3 Days Trekking - Great time trekking through rice paddies, bamboo forests, small villages and towns. Lang was an amazingly guide. She is funny, always answering our questions and checking in to see if we were doing ok or having fun. We chose the 3 day trek. Our group started out with 11 trekkers. We left town and as we started to descend into the forest there were many local women waiting to “help” us and sell us their goods. I had read that this would happen and Lang also told us what to expect. Because we were towing the end of our Vietnam trip I had planned to buy gifts for friends from these woman. They are tenacious but it is their only way of making money and if you say no they will move on. Day 2 we were down to 5 trekkers. Day two was more challenging with lots of up and down through bamboo rainforests and rice paddies. We’re in our early 60’s so older than most of the folks we saw trekking. We were the only ones in our group that chose the three day trek so it was just Lang and us. So glad for the third day to move a a slower pace and take in the landscape. Lang gave us options to take harder or easier routes. We chose harder which meant harder terrain to navigate and no other trekkers. Lang was an amazing guide. You would be lucky to have her guide you through the amazing countryside.

Super trek through rice fields and bamboo groves - We just finished a 3d trek in the villages of Muong Hoa Valley. An unforgettable experience with our Guide Sang, who led us along the small paths through rice fields and bamboo groves sharing his knowledge of valley life. We were able to visit his house and understand everything about growing rice and dyeing indigo. The choice of guest houses was also perfect! Thank you very much Blood for these 3 wonderful days!

Huang Su Phi: Trekking and Homestay + Cruise on Lan Ha Bay - 2 expeditions very well organized by Thanh. Everything went very well at the transport level (several changes without any problems). We were very well received by the locals, well slept and very well eaten. Sleeping at home was a difficult experience for children (15,13,13), but ultimately it will be their most beautiful memory of Vietnam! Many thanks to the Guide (Chu) and local guides, for all their explanations, kindness, humor:-) The cruise was a magical moment, seafood dishes and amazing breakfasts will be remembered, kayaking at the foot of the cliffs, swimming in this unlikely place, and jumping from the boat. On the boat (maximum 15 pers), we were also very well received, and very well eaten and slept. Another big thank you Thanh for the whole organization, which corresponds exactly to what we wanted! We wanted to hike in rice fields, bamboo forests, along local farms... Bet successful!!!

Unforgettable 3-day trek with our guide Sáng !! - My family and I went on a beautiful 3 day trek around the valley and the local villages. Our guide Sáng was the best: she was always helping us, sharing all her knowledge and she was the funniest and kindest! She told us everything about the traditions of the villages around and she put a lot of thought into taking us to the most beautiful paths and viewpoints. We had a herbal bath, climbed a mountain, had a bath in a waterfall, went through beautiful bamboo forests, toasted with rice liquor... We will never forget this trip and Sáng will forever be in our hearts! ❤️

Great views, food, and people! - So glad we booked the three day trek, saw so much more and met great people. The home stays were cool to see and I felt comfortable. The food was great, got to try lots of local and traditional dishes. She was our guide and was amazing. Very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable! I would do this again if I could, great way to see the lives of the Sa Pa people and those in the surrounding villages.

Authentic Trek - Everything was great! Our lovely guide, Sue, was reliable and always there to help. We trekked through many villages and then stayed at two different homestays with delicious food and nice accommodations. Met great friends along the way. She was also very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Vietnamese and Hmong culture and way of life.
