Lao cai - Lung Khau Nhin - Khau Vang

Muong Khuong - Upon arriving at Lao Cai station in the early morning, a local guide will greet and pick you up.

Next, you’ll be driven to a quality local restaurant for breakfast.

After breakfast and a brief rest, you’ll be transferred to Muong Khuong, a small border town where your adventure begins.

Along the way, you’ll enjoy the serene and stunning beauty of local villages and the green, rugged mountains along the Nam Thi River.

After about 2 hours, you’ll reach Thanh Binh village. Here, the guide will give a presentation about the region and the upcoming expedition before you explore the area on your own.

Sapa - Leaving Thanh Binh village, you’ll head southeast to Lung Khau Nhin Na Phin, Na Nam, and Chung Chai village. Along the way, you’ll witness some of the most breathtaking sceneries, stopping regularly to soak in the beauty and chat with the friendly H’Mong and Nung people.

You’ll stop for lunch in the shade before continuing to Khau Vang for an overnight stay. You’ll sleep away from the noise and bustle in a Nung stilt house.

Khau vang - Na Cap - Ban me

Sapa - On day 2, after breakfast, you’ll go downhill following a single track and dirt roads winding through forests and remote villages.

The guide will show you some non-touristic yet fascinating points. You can observe and even participate in many exciting traditional customs there.

Then, you’ll hike for about 3 hours before crossing the Chay river.

You’ll find a nice spot to stop for lunch.

The afternoon adventure mainly involves rugged terrain to reach Me village, inhabited by the Nung ethnic minority people.

You’ll stay in this village overnight, choosing to sleep either in a tent or at the local school.

Ban me - Quan Than San

Sapa - After an early breakfast in Me village, you’ll start the trekking journey through rugged terrain, passing by beautiful and peaceful rice fields and local villages. Keep your camera handy to capture these stunning images.

You’ll trek over some streams, so be prepared to get wet. You’ll find a nice spot to stop for a picnic lunch.

Following lunch and a short break, you’ll start the afternoon program by trekking on quiet trails to reach the final point of the day’s tour.

After about 3 hours, you’ll arrive at the small Hmong village of Quan Than San.

Quan Than San - La Kheo

Sapa - You’ll leave Quan Than San village for more challenging climbs ahead.

You’ll have the chance to enjoy breathtaking sceneries of the Thang Sin mountain and distant Hmong villages.
Your first trekking destination is Ngai Cho village. Then, you’ll continue trekking about 8km through remote villages and stunning terrain to reach Thai Giang Pho village.

You’ll find a nice spot to stop for lunch.

After lunch, you’ll go downhill to reach La Kheo homestay, where you’ll spend the night.

La Kheo - Bac Ha Market - Sunday market

Bac Ha Market - Upon arrival, you’ll stroll around and explore the market. Here, you’ll see different ethnic minority people in their colorful traditional dress, such as Hmong, Phu La, Back Dzao, Tay, or Nung minorities, and a wide range of homemade products sold by the locals.

After exploring the market, you’ll drop by a restaurant for lunch.

Following lunch and a short rest, you’ll take a short walk to Giang Pho village of the Nung ethnic minority people. Nung villages are always set up at the foot of a mountain or along a stream and are named after a mountain. In the village, you’ll stop by a traditional Nung house for a cup of tea before returning to Bac Ha. You’ll stay in a hotel and have dinner there.

Nam Mon - Trung Do - Lao cai

Lao Cai - We’ll drive downhill towards Lao Cai for about half an hour. We’ll stop on the way (before reaching Lao Cai) to take a short walk to Trung Do village, inhabited by Tay people. Tay villages are always set up at the foot of a mountain or along a stream and are named after a mountain, a field, or a river. Each village contains about 15-20 households. A large village is divided into many small hamlets. The houses are built on stilts or level with the ground. Stop by a traditional Tay house for a cup of tea.

After lunch, take a boat cruise upstream the Chay River. The scenery is very beautiful on both sides of the river. The boat trip will end at Coc Ly, where your vehicle will be waiting for you for the journey back to Lao Cai. End of tour.
