• Bac Ha Market - Bac Ha Sunday Market takes place every Sunday from morning until 2:00 pm, located near the mountainous highlands and the Chinese border. The market has been in existence since the establishment of Lao Cai Province. Since then, it has only been open once a week on Sundays.

Bac Ha Market is regarded as the largest and most vibrant market in the region. On weekends, crowds of villagers from nearby hill tribes travel to the market to buy and trade food, animals, clothing, and household items.
