Unforgettable trekking in Sapa - Our trekking experience in Sapa with Tháo was nothing short of incredible! Tháo, a local Hmong guide, took us on a journey through beautiful villages, offering deep insights into the culture and daily life of the region. Her knowledge, warmth, and storytelling made the trek even more special. One of the highlights was having lunch at Tháo’s home, where she welcomed us with open arms and delicious home-cooked food. It felt like an authentic and personal experience, something you rarely get on standard tours. Tháo made the entire trek enjoyable and accessible, ensuring we were comfortable and pacing the walk perfectly. She took time to explain the history, traditions, and customs of the Hmong people, answering all of our questions with patience and enthusiasm. We left feeling enriched, not just by the stunning landscapes but by the genuine connection and understanding we gained through Tháo’s guidance. If you’re planning a trip to Sapa, I highly recommend trekking with Tháo – it was one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Vietnam!

Memorable Hike - I can't rate this trip highly enough. Even though it was really poor weather (we will try and and do it again in better) it was a really memorable experience primarily due to our Guides from the local Hmong community. Brilliant days walk finished with lunch at our Guides house which we will always remember

A must do experience - Khu is a wonderful, clever, lighthearted woman. We spent the day with her and some other beautiful ladies from the village. We loved them and we loved the whole experience. The lunch we had at Khu’s friend’s house was the best meal we have had in Vietnam. Take cash and buy the beautiful handmade crafts from the local women.

Trekking near SaPa - We had the best day trekking with Khu and her two friends. These ladies speak great English. They have the best laughs and sense of humor. We saw the amazing sights of the Bamboo trails, tiered rice fields. Visited Lao Chai village and saw how they weave, embroider, dye fabric and make the local handicrafts. They held us up on the slippery mud trails and made us laugh while doing it! We thoroughly enjoyed their happy demeanor. Would highly recommend this tour! Grant & Crystal Alberta, Canada 🇨🇦

Amazing guide - We booked our trek with Thao for 6h and it was a really great experience. She led us through the rice fields of Sapa, giving us a lot of details about ethnic living, plants (indigo), animals. We shared about our life and wildness while trekking. We ended in her village and had some happy drink and very good lunch. She is a very good cooker and driver as well, and she drove us to our hotel in the evening with her father. Thank you Thao for this amazing expérience and for the homemade horses and hearts with leaves.

A perfect moment 💚 - One of our best memories of Vietnam. We discovered the rice fields of Sa Pa alongside little cu, an extraordinary woman by her kindness, her love of sharing. We hesitated at the beginning, as we did well to trust him. A real joy this hike. Thank you very much.

Great trekking experience with knowledgeable and friendly guide! - I had an incredible trekking experience with Mama Khu! She’s such a wonderful guide—always smiling, fun, and easygoing. She knows so much about SAPA, from the different tribes around the village to their history and the local agriculture. She even showed me the indigo leaf used to make dye for traditional costumes and explained the whole process of creating each piece, from weaving to knitting and dyeing—it’s amazing how much work goes into it! She also has a marijuana plant by her house, and I learned that they use the stalks purely for weaving, not for any recreational purpose. Mama Khu led me along trails from mountain paths to rivers and across rice fields, letting me experience how locals travel between tribes in the mountains. It was truly an unforgettable journey! Thanks Mama Khu, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to travel SAPA!
