You will have the opportunity to visit picturesque villages located about 13km from Sapa and learn about various ethnic groups, local traditions, and culture.
Starting from Sapa town, it will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes to leave the town.
Afterward, we will begin our trek on trails through Y Linh Ho village, where you can see rice terraces inhabited by ethnic people, mainly the Mong community, who cultivate rice and maize to sustain their families and feed their animals. They also grow thorns and indigo plants to make their own clothing.
From here, the path will lead us to Lao Chai village, crossing endless rice fields under the shadow of majestic mountains, where we will stop for lunch.
Around 11:30-12:30, we will have lunch at a small restaurant where you can savor a variety of local dishes and try happy water. After lunch, we will pass through Lao Chai village, where you can observe people working in the rice fields, either cultivating or harvesting depending on the season. After an hour and a half walk from Lao Chai (around 2pm), you will learn about the local culture, daily life, and traditional crafts of the Hmong people.
