Very happy with the experience - We just arrived at the hotel, and couldn't wait any longer, to review this route. We were picked up at our hotel at the exact time we met, we were taken to walk along a somewhat steep path, but very nice from minute one. After a few minutes walking, he gave us a choice between short and easy path, or long and mountain path. Without a doubt, I think we chose the best option, because the long tour, was incredibly beautiful. Thanks to Chó, our Guide, all our trekking was a sea of laughter, explaining everything very clearly, and making jokes every time. It couldn't be more enjoyable the journey, really. We ate at a village restaurant halfway through, and everything was delicious. A beer, a coffee, and back to the trail, to enter an authentic bamboo and hemp forest, passing through rice paddies and settlements, where we could see the work of collecting, separating and drying the grain. A real treat. As a icing on the cake, and to finish the route properly, we had a glass of tea and a shot of homemade rice liquor in a local house. Very rich tea and strong liquor and also very rich. Then a car was waiting two minutes down to bring us back to the hotel. Definitely 100 x 100 recommended.
