HANOI TO HA GIANG BY OVERNIGHT BUS

Sapa - Pickup is available from hotels in the SAPA area between 7:00 PM and 7:30 PM. The shuttle bus will collect you directly from your hotel or from the activity provider’s office at 431 Dien Bien Phu.

Ha Giang - We arrive in Ha Giang around 01:00-02:00 AM. Take a bed at a hostel.

HA GIANG CITY - QUAN BA - YEN MINH - PHO CAO – SUNG LA - DONG VAN TOWN

Ha Giang - 8:30 AM - Have breakfast and then start the Ha Giang loop journey. Check in at KM 0 Milestone, Bac Sum Slope, and Quan Ba Heaven Gate. Stop to see the entire Doi Mountain and Tam Son Town. At 12:30, after passing Can Ty pass, check in at some beautiful spots, lonely trees, and Van Chai cliff, then have lunch at Yen Minh town.

Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - At 1:30 PM, continue towards Dong Van to check in at Tham Ma pass, Pho Cao village, Sung La valley, visit Lung Cam cultural village rich with H’Mong ethnic identity, visit “Pao’s house”, Tam Giac Mach field, and Moon rock field in Sa Phin village. At 4:30 PM, visit the mansion of the Vuong family (King of the Hmong people). Here, you will truly admire the life and culture of the H’Mong people. In the late afternoon, under the last sunlight of the day, you will get the most authentic experience of the architectural exchange of three cultures: H’Mong, French, and Chinese.

At 6:00 PM, check in at a hotel or homestay and rest. At 7:30 PM, have dinner, then feel free to walk around Dong Van old town and enjoy street food at the Dong Van old town night market.

DONG VAN TOWN – MA PI LENG PASS – NHO QUE RIVER – MAU DUE – DU GIA

Ma Pi Leng Pass - At 8:30 AM, after breakfast, we will visit the legendary Happiness Road, the majestic Ma Pi Leng Pass, and the beautiful Nho Que River. Check in at the Ma Pi Leng monument, the dangerous road to Death’s snout and Dinosaur’s spine, and walk on the sky path to see the entire scene at the foot of the pass. There are panorama viewing points and a few beautiful check-in points at the top of the pass.

Nho Que River - Take a boat on the Nho Que River to see the highest Tu San canyon in Southeast Asia, a natural masterpiece that can only be found in Ha Giang. At 12:30 PM, have lunch at Meo Vac Town. Then continue the journey from Meo Vac town to Du Gia, a road with beautiful views and many winding roads with endless valleys. On the way, check in at M pass shooting location, Mau Due, and Lung Ho. At 5:00 PM, arrive at Du Gia commune center, check in at a local homestay in Du Gia village, enjoy dinner with Tay cuisine, and drink corn wine, which we happily named “happy water”.

DU GIA – DUONG THUONG village LUNG TAM – QUAN BA – HA GIANG city

Du Gia - On the last day of our journey, we visit Lung Tam, a village inhabited by Hmong ethnic minorities known for their skillful textile products. We then cross Quan Ba town and have a look at Nui Doi Mountain. After crossing Sky Gate, we pass back by Bac Sum Pass and return to Ha Giang in the late afternoon.

Traveling to Du Gia National Park in Ha Giang will be an exciting journey for you, completely different from trips to Meo Vac or Dong Van you may have experienced. Many people still call Du Gia a “fairy village” because of its scenery and all that it offers! If Dong Van or Meo Vac are challenging roads for travelers, come to Du Gia for profound experiences.
