Amazing overall experience, both hiking, accommodation and company! - Trekking with Bau in Sapa really was the highlight of our 2 month trip through Asia, I cannot recommend it enough! She arranged the logistics very smoothly, with her husband picking up our luggage in Sapa town so we could start the tour straight away. The walk itself was amazing, as Bau took us through small roads and jungle trails where we were barely saw any other tour groups, and the views were breathtaking. She was very considerate and adjusted the pace and break times according to our ability. In the evenings we were welcomed into their family home where we cooked and ate with the family, I felt so comfortable and well taken care of! It was really rewarding to experience living in her ethnic village and it felt very authentic. Bau is really knowledgable about the tribes’ way of life and happily shared stories, I learnt lots about life in rural Sapa. She is such a hard hard working individual building her own business, I admire her and really hope more people find her and her tours. Overall a truly fantastic experience for anyone looking to hike in Sapa, I hope to come back and visit again someday!

Best Sapa tour guide ever! - Bau is an amazing Sapa guide. Her knowledge is top notch. Bau could not do enough for the 2 days we spent with her. 1 day trekking and one doing waterfalls and town tour. You definitely need to book bau if travelling in Sapa. Very honest, passionate, hard working person, we just loved our time in Sapa and with bau!

best tour guides in sa pa!!! - Bau wasn't able to tour me so her sister Mu stepped in. As pictured below, Mu took tons of photos of me and for me, which was great, so I got to enjoy the nature without focusing on taking photos. I arrived at 3am, and Bau helped me get my luggage to a nearby hotel from the bus station, and had me set up with breakfast there as well, so I wouldn't be stuck on the street just because I didn't want to pay for a few hours in a hotel before the trek. Her sister arrived early to accommodate my early bus. She was very nice even though I was irritable the second half of the tour due to having no sleep and not properly fueling myself. When we arrived at their home, they all welcomed me with open arms. It really is a real homestay, it's not like those fancy pantsy cabins that is clearly not a home: this feels like a HOME, and I felt like a family member. They let me sleep, got me snacks, water, and made sure I had a shower. We all ate dinner together, and had some wonderful conversations, each learning about each other's cultures and for me, humility and empathy were both increasingly gained in this experience. The morning pancakes were INSANE, I've never had pancakes like that before. The way they live is distinctly different than other places I've stayed in Vietnam, or even SaPa town! I didn't do the second day of trekking due to rain, and I was just too scared of falling to attempt it. Even so, they helped me get my enormous suitcases back into town to catch my bus. Then again, set up my luggage storage with the hostel until my bus arrived (which they booked for me). The hostel guy had been informed by Bau to walk me to the bus and put me on the bus. The only negative I can think to say is the roaches outside, but that's just how it is in villages, it's unavoidable if you want an authentic experience. Just such a loving and wonderful experience with a wonderful family.

Unforgettable experience!! We cannot thank Bau enough🥰 - We had the most incredible time on our 2 day trek with Bau, we really cannot recommend it enough!! The views along the trek were breathtaking and Bau knew the area so well and was able to give us information throughout the hike that really allowed us to imagine what it was like to grow up in the villages. She taught us all about how the village grows and makes hemp fabric and dyes it using indigo leaves to make their traditional clothing and giving the tribe its name Black H’mong as a result of the black clothing they wear. We also learned about how the villages use the farm land to provide for their family and about their cultural traditions. Not only was the hike itself amazing but we stayed in Bau’s home with her wonderful family. She cooked us dinner on her wood fire and even let us help prepare the spring rolls - we ate with her family and drank some happy water and it was truly the most wholesome, authentic and raw experience of our entire 4 month trip around Asia. She welcomes us into her home with open arms and looked after us so well throughout the two days. We really felt as though we got to see how the people in the H’mong village live first hand and we are so honoured she gave us such a personal and authentic experience. Thank you Bau for this unforgettable experience🥰🥰🥰

Sapa 2D 1N trekking tour - Bau is such a lovely tour guide, her English is also brilliant! She took us on a 2D 1N trek in the mountains and we spent the night at her family home. The walk was a great level of difficulty with lots of breaks and beautiful scenery. She was very informative and happy to answer any questions we had. Her family were so welcoming and cooked delicious meals for us. We cannot recommend her enough!!

Incredible trekking experience! - One of the better guided treks my boyfriend and I have been on. We did the 2D1N trek with Bau and she was incredible. She welcomed us to her home, guided us through beautiful rice fields and bamboo forests, and shared with us all about her culture and the plants in the area. Highly recommend her services to anyone who wants an intimate trekking experience!

Fantastic experience - After we got this tour recommended to us we booked it and we do not regret it. It was fantastic! Beautiful views, good amount of hiking and stops and good food! Bau was a fantastic tour guide!!! I work as a guide myself and she truly did a fantastic job. She was clear, knew a lot about the area, had great stories and her English was really really good. We did the 2d 1n tour and after a day of hiking we got to stay with Bau and her family, they cooked us dinner and we all ate it together and had a bit of happy water. We really enjoyed it and this is the tour to book when you’re going to Sapa!!
