Fun and tiring - Su was our guide, she was helpful and kind. However, some local ladies followed us through trekking to sell their stuff and we were 12 people trying to hike in the mud. The village is amazing and the food was really nice

Trekking through Sapa w/ Zizi - Zizi was always there to lend a helping hand (sometimes literally 😂) on our beautiful hike through Sapa. Although challenging, what a beautiful and rewarding experience. I would recommend everyone visiting Vietnam do this tour to experience a unique tourist attraction. ASK FOR ZIZI, her English is fantastic and she is one of the nicest people I've ever encountered in my life.

Khu is the best tour guide! An amazing tour guide and all round lady - Khu was an amazing tour guide. She picked me up and recommended to get shoe cover and a rain coat. She even brought me to the shop. She is such a lovely, caring and knowledgeable lady. We decided to take the natural route and would come running up to help us if we were slipping. Khu is the best tour guide I’ve ever had! She took time to explain the different villages and culture.

Sa Pa trekking through the ricefields - We did the 2 days/1 night trip to Ta Van village with Cat as our guide. She is the sweetest person and we loved the tour with very much! Also great food (also vegetarian) and lovely accommodation (we had the bungalow). Only downside for us: the sleeperbus, which was one of the older, cheaper ones. If you want more comfort, ask for an upgrade to VIP cabin sleeper. As people wrote here, there is usually a group of local women following on the trek and yes, they expect you to buy sth of them in the end BUT we wouldn’t have survived the slippery parts without them and also, we as tourists are coming to their villages to see their culture so i think its totally fair to give sth back and buy their products even if you don’t necessarily need them.

Lovely Sapa tour with Zizi! - Everything was very wel organised. From the sleeper, we got picked up by a person who led us to the breakfast place. There we met with the lovely Zizi, our tour guide. She was very lovely and told us a lot about the traditions etc in her local village in the valley of Sapa. Would definitely recommend if you like walking in nature! There is an easy option or a more difficult one (that can get a little bit slippery). So they provide something for everyone!
