- Bac Ha - The Bac Ha market tour starts from your hotel in Sapa (or in Lao Cai). Enjoy the stunning rice terrace fields on the way to the market (2.5 hours from Sapa to Bac Ha). Upon arrival, experience the vibrant colors of various ethnic groups, take beautiful photos, sip some corn wine, and savor local foods with the ethnic people. Visit the animal area featuring buffaloes, cows, horses, dogs, ducks, cats, and more. Have lunch at a local restaurant on your own, then visit BAN PHO village. Take a short 30-minute walk around the village to explore the life of ethnic people amidst beautiful rice terrace fields. Afterwards, head to Lao Cai city to see the China-Vietnam border gate, and return to the train station or Sapa.
