No trip to SaPa is complete without at least one night in a homestay in the H mong valley. - I felt as if I walked into photograph. The beauty of the valley is beyond what you would expect. Gained a deep respect for the H mong ethnic village people working as farmers part of the year. then making ends meet the best they can selling crafts or opening their home as guest houses. Lan my guide gave me an experience of walking with a local I have never experienced before. I did not realize the extent of the home stay role in the economy of the h mong valley everyday life.

Great experience - We did two days of trekking in villages and rice fields guided by Sáng. An experience that we recommend, Sáng explained everything, his life, his family and the culture of different villages and ethnicities. Despite the damage caused by the typhoon, our Guide found the best paths and stayed tuned throughout. We opted for the more difficult but authentic paths (which I recommend! ). It’s a real moment of sharing, laughter and emotion that cuts you off from the rest of the world. Thank you Sáng! 🫶

Must do in Vietnam. Incredible cultural experience and breath taking views. - Couldn’t have asked for better hospitality. Lan, our tour guide, was great. She was good fun, and also shared some very interesting facts/stories about the 4 villages, and the different tribes in each one. All the families we met was an experience in itself, really putting life into perspective - very moving. The homestay itself was great - the tribal people couldn’t speak much English as expected, but was a very wholesome evening and great food. Other tourists were also staying too, so it was also a great way to meet people. If you are visiting Vietnam, this homestay tour should be one of the top of your list. I’ve not even mentioned the mind blowing views! That is almost a side piece to this cultural immersive experience. 10/10.

Amazing 2 days Trecking with sang - We had an amazing experience with Sang! She is absolutely the best guide we had in Vietnam so far. We had 2 days Trecking tour in the villages area including food and home stay sleep. Sang shared with us about her life as an hamong which was very interesting to learn and to hear. Her English is really good so it allowed us to have also extra small talks into the night. Highly recommended to join her tour. For us a bonus was that she really took us the small “not the shortcut” roads which was exactly was we looked for, going off road. And - she is amazing photographer!!!

Around Sapa with Sue - A great trakking with Sue, she was our tour guide and she was amazing. Speaks english and she was exolaining a lot of things and answering to a lot of questions too. I couldn t expect better guide. The trekking is easy and don t need a booth, if do in a dry season, otherwise will be quite muddy. If you decide to do a tour around Sapa ask for her!

Beautiful hikes - Beautiful hikes with good homestay! Even with private rooms. Guide was clear and helpful. Not a big group, which was also very nice.

My favourite tour I've done while traveling through Vietnam. - We went on our tour with Nhu! We had an amazing time. The views were spectacular, we met many locals in the villages along the way and passed through bamboo forests and waterfalls. Nhu was good to share information and show us how local people lived. The homestay was also lovely and brilliant fun. My favourite tour I've done while traveling through Vietnam.

Beautiful and unique experience in Sapa - The views were great! Su was an informative and helpful guide. The homestay was clean and food was delicious. However, it rained throughout the trek and it was very muddy and slippery at the start.

Unique experience and highly recommended! - Su was our guide for the 2-day homestay trekking tour, highly recommend her tour as she was very friendly and informative :) The homestay was clean, there was hot water and food was delicious yum! Views were amazing 🤩 However, as it rained prior to the tour, do note that the trek down to the homestay was muddy and would be relatively difficult for those who are not fit. There were locals helping us with our trek down. Highly suggest getting proper gear such as hiking shoes and poncho.
