Sapa- Tram Ton – Sin Chai

Sapa- Tram Ton – Sin Chai

You will then be driven to the first stop of the day’s tour, the Silver Waterfall. After disembarking from the vehicle, a short walk will lead you to the waterfall, where you can admire its stunning beauty and enjoy the refreshing, cool air.
Next, you will be driven to the Heaven Gate, known as the highest road peak in Vietnam. From here, you can view Fansipan, the “Roof of Indochina,” and take in the breathtaking views of the valley.
The trek continues downhill through a bamboo forest, part of the Hoang Lien National Park. A scenic spot by a river will be the perfect place to pause for lunch.
Terraced Rice Fields in Sin Chai Village - After lunch and a rest, the afternoon program begins with a trek to Sin Chai village, home to the Black Hmong ethnic minority. This community-based tourism site offers an overnight stay and a chance to explore the daily life of one of Sapa’s largest ethnic groups.
Sin Chai – Cat Cat – Y Linh Ho
Cat Cat village - Upon reaching the mountain’s summit, a small trail offers stunning area views.
The journey continues downhill to Cat Cat village, nestled in a picturesque valley about 3 kilometers from Sapa town.
Upon arrival, take a moment to appreciate the waterfall and hydroelectric station. The road offers beautiful landscapes, scenery, and fresh air.
Lunch will be served near the waterfall.
After lunch, the trek continues along a trail through the mountains, offering stunning scenery alongside a narrow river.
Y Linh Ho - The day’s final destination is Y Linh Ho village, home to the Black Hmong people. Note that the trail from Cat Cat to Y Linh Ho can be slippery during the rainy season. Here, you can observe and learn about the fascinating daily life of these ethnic minority people and admire the beautiful rice paddy terraces.
An overnight stay in this village is planned.
Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai – Tavan
Muong Hoa Valley - The third day’s trek follows the Hoang Lien mountain range, offering spectacular views of the expansive rice field terraces in Muong Hoa valley, the largest in the Sapa area.
A pleasant spot will be chosen for lunch.
After lunch and a brief rest, the journey continues downhill to the valley’s base.
Lao Chai - The route passes through Lao Chai village of the Black Hmong minority and Tavan village of the Giay minority, following a popular trekking path. Here, you can explore the village, enjoy the stunning valley views, and take a refreshing swim in the nearby river.
An overnight stay in a local Giay ethnic house is included.
Tavan - Seomity
Sapa - After breakfast, the second day’s trekking adventure begins, mostly uphill until lunchtime. Rest stops offer stunning valley views, so keep your camera ready to capture these fantastic scenes.
Before noon, a pleasant spot will be chosen for lunch.
After lunch and a short rest, the afternoon program begins. The trek becomes easier, but the scenery is even more beautiful. Passing by Seomity village, inhabited by the Black Hmong ethnic minority, you will arrive at a campsite near a river outside the village. While porters set up tents and prepare dinner, you can take a walk to stretch your legs and relax.
Seomity – Den Thang - Ta Trung Ho
Sapa - From Seomity village, the trek continues on a small trail through a rainforest.
By noon, you will reach Den Thang village, home to the Black Hmong people, where lunch will be served. Depending on the weather, lunch can be by a river or in a local school.
After lunch and a short break, the trek continues on a more challenging route with a narrow footpath. Caution is advised for safety.
The journey leads to Ta Trung Ho village, where the Red Dao ethnic minority resides. Spend time exploring the village, interacting with locals, and enjoying the warm hospitality of the Red Dao people.
Ta Trung Ho - Nam Toong – My Son – Thanh Phu
Sapa - On day 4, an early breakfast at Ta Trung Ho village precedes another trekking adventure. The trek begins at the edge of the rainforest by the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, home to Fansipan, the “Roof of Indochina,” standing at 3140m.
The trek ascends to Nam Toong village, inhabited by the Red Dao ethnic minority. Locals will guide you around the village, and lunch will be served in a local school.
Sapa - After lunch, the afternoon program continues with a downhill trek to the valley, home to My Son village of the Xa Pho minority, one of Northern Vietnam’s smallest ethnic groups.
Leaving this village, the journey continues to Thanh Phu village, inhabited by the Tay ethnic people. An overnight stay in a traditional Tay house is planned, with opportunities to explore the village, observe local activities, and enjoy a delicious meal of typical Vietnamese dishes.
The day 4 program concludes.
Thanh Phu - Nam Cum – Sin Chai
Sapa - After breakfast, the journey from Thanh Phu village to Nam Cum begins.
The trail follows the valley’s base, offering fantastic views of the surrounding mountains.
A pleasant spot will be chosen for lunch.
After lunch, the afternoon program begins with a walk to Sin Chai village, home to the Red Dao ethnic minority.
Upon arrival, spend time exploring the village, observing, participating in, and learning about the locals’ daily activities.
Sin Chai - Nam Ket –Ben Den – Lao Cai
Sapa - Once ready, the adventure from Sin Chai through a stunning mountainous area and Sapa’s most remote part begins.
Along the way, enjoy the natural beauty of mountains, bamboo forests, and jungles, and interact with curious local children. Most residents are Red Dao ethnic minority people.
Lunch will be served at Nam Ket.
Lao Cai - After lunch and a short rest, a half-hour downhill trek leads to a green valley along the Red River, offering magnificent views of the stunning natural landscape. Keep your camera ready to capture these beautiful scenes.
The journey concludes at Ta Thang village, home to the Tay ethnic minority. Upon arrival, a driver will take you back to Lao Cai station to catch a train back to Hanoi, marking the end of the tour.
