Fantastic guide on a amazing trip - We hiked with Zhu for 3 days with 2 nights at local families. It was a fantastic trip, where Zhu was a perfect guide who speaks good English. She was nice, helped us with everything and knew a lot about the area. We can only recommend others to use Trekking Tour Sapa and especially to use Zhu as a guide.

H mong way - "Tong" pronounced Tom (not sure how to spell!) was wonderful, welcoming and knowledgeable. Her English is great and she knew the local area very well. Ensuring our group didn't fall over in the mud. Unfortunately we didn't have much luck with the weather but still go to see some rice paddy views and villages. I can only imagine what it is like when it is sunny!! Homestays were comfortable and food very yummy! Definitely small groups as its off season so got my own room both nights. I would like to come back and do it in may or later!

Amazing 3D2N trekking experience in Sapa-Area - We decided to do the 3D2N trekking tour and enjoyed every bit of it. Even though the weather wasn‘t on our side our tour guide Mey made the best out of it. She taught us a lot about the Hamong culture and even a little about the other minorities living in this area. The homestays were great to. I would definitely recommend this company and doing this kind oft trip to really emerge into the culture and life here. Special thanks again to tour amazing tour guide Mey!

Amazing New Year’s trip - Me and a friend decided to visit. We had no idea that Lunar New Year was occurring at the time. Instead of closing down the tours they took us on the most insane 3 day trip of all time. Showing us around their homes, inviting us inside, drinking and partying for new year. We discovered a lot about the culture with our amazing guide Sang, who answered as many questions as we asked. Day two consisted of assisting in the New Year preparations by slaughtering a pig and a duck, which was eye opening experiences for me and my friend. I’d recommend this to anyone willing to learn about the Hmong people. Very cool.

Hiking through the Sapa valley and learning about the different minority communities - We had a great experience with our guide, Hau So. The experience was tailored so that we couldn’t up to see the top of Fansipan the first day. Note that even taking the cable car to the top, there is still quite a bit of additional steps/hiking to get to the peak. The second half of the first day was spent hiking to our first homestay. Note that the hiking does involve a lot of elevation which was challenging on the knees. Pack as light as possible. For the best experience, be open minded and willing to learn about the communities that you will be trekking through. Ask lots of questions. The people in the community are very kind.

Lovely local experience in the villages of Sapa - If you want to see the beautiful Sapa villages area with a local guide, this is the best way to go. Our guide So took us from Sapa town to see Fansipan and then walked us to the local villages to see the bamboo forest, rice paddies and to stay at home stays - comfortable bed and breakfasts hosted by village families. Our hikes were 10 miles each day, stopping at picturesque lunches on the way. Highly recommended when in Vietnam!

Authentic Trekking Tour in the Land of Hmong and Dao - Our trekking tour took us through Hmong and Dao villages. The overnight stays in the homestays with the families were very impressive and interesting for us, you briefly participate in the daily life of the people. That's very special. Especially the delicious food and the herbal bath we liked. Our very dear companion Ly told us a lot about the culture and way of life of the locals. Unfortunately we were very unlucky with the weather, almost no view of the mountains and the paths were very difficult to walk due to the heavy damage of the last rainy season. The running time was about 5-6 hours on the second day, 4 hours on the third day. On this tour you were especially on the third day at up to 1400 m altitude and had no visibility at all in the weather, which was a great pity. Perhaps it would be possible here for the Agency to propose alternatives in the short term. But all in all it was a very authentic experience that we can definitely recommend.
