2D1N trekking with Sapa Sisters with kids - We went trekking with the Sapa sisters for 2 days and one night. We were a group of 12 people including 6 children. The sapa sisters showed us an easier and more manageable trek with children using a van to help us move. We walked in Bamboo Forest, enjoyed magnificent scenery and views, ate in typical restaurants and slept in a fantastic Home stay. Our Pang Guide was fantastic, he allowed us, with his stories, to get to know the Hmong culture and to fully experience the beauty of those territories. We spent 2 days really great! I can only recommend the Sapa Sisters!

Outstanding guide! - Our trek with the Sapa Sisters was amazing, in large part because of the excellent communication with the main office and our fantastic guide, May. The office was very accommodating when we had a last-minute medical issue that meant we had to postpone our trek by a day. Our guide, May, was dynamic and spoke candidly about her culture. She was very generous sharing her experiences, and had an excellent command of English. We loved meeting her mother and having a delicious home-cooked lunch at her home, followed by “happy water!” The trek was beautiful, and May did a great job tailoring it to our interests and adapting to the weather. We highly recommend trekking with the Sapa Sisters, especially if May is your guide!

You must do this rain or shine and you must do it with Sapa Sisters - Trekking through the rice paddies and hills around Sapa with Ker from Sapa Sisters was, hands down, the best experience we had on our month-long visit to Vietnam. We are two adults, a 10-year-old and two 13-year-olds. It was pouring rain the morning of our departure, and we considered canceling. I am forever grateful we put on our hardware store rubber boots and got out there. All five of us feel that our Sapa Sisters trek was an experience we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Having traveled with our family for seven years, we are tour skeptics and know well that a tour is only as good as its guide. Ker was simply amazing. She and her colleagues bring deep local wisdom and knowledge. She shared her insights while allowing us to have our own experiences. She made us feel welcome like family friends. She offered us choices and guidance in the most supportive and helpful way. We had no idea what the homestay would be like, but we did feel right at home in that H'moung village in the rainy mountains. The food was delicious, the family was friendly, the room was comfortable, and the shower was hot. It was an incredible way to spend the night on the trail. I worry about tourism's negative impacts on gorgeous environments and rural populations in regions like the Sapa. Still, it felt good knowing that Sapa Sisters is a locally woman-owned, socially responsible enterprise. I continue to feel ambivalent about my impact and role as a tourist, but I am confident that patronizing this organization and ones like it is the right way to go if you are going. Thank you, Ker and Sapa Sisters, for the experience of a lifetime. We hope to pay your good will forward.

Great for children!! - We did the trek as a family with 2 children. Our son (6yo) was sick the morning of the trekand we could take the time we needed, even adjust the itinary to make it work for him. As he was feeling better after the lunch we could follow the initial itinerary. On the 2nd day our guide was still adjusting the itinerary depending on the children. It was so great! We could not have done it otherwise and we are very thankful to our guide for taking it into consideration. Thanks Tchai!

Amazing experience! - We really had an excellent time trekking with lily from the sapa sisters. She really knows the mountains so well and adjusted the trip to exactly how we liked it. The homestay was also such a great experience. If we come back, which we would like, we definitely trek with the Sapa sisters again!

lovely guide, but a very overpriced and touristy trek - the guide was great the views are great but is very touristy. everybody is walking more or less the same trek and every tourist has some villagers and children walking with just (following you!) to sell you their souverirs. they walk with you for hours... also the lunch in the restaurant was extremely basic as is the homestay. I think the trek is seriously overprices as well!
