The best way to experience Sa Pa - Excellent trekking, really not touristic. You have the possibility of doing a hard track (which is not steep but is muddy/slippery) or a soft track, and this gives you the possibility of seeing different landscapes (the soft one is more “panoramic”, the hard one is more in the forest and in the nature). We’ve done for the first part the hard track and for the second part the soft one, and then again the hard one to finish in the bamboo forest. Guide Mo was fantastic, very kind.

On foot? By bike? Why not rent a scooter! - Have done a full day scooter trekking ;) because our youngest is 5 so on foot or by bike not an option. In the end the best idea because instead of covering 10-20km we did almost 100km and had a great view on Sapa and surrounding villages. Our guide Sing was great as he invited us to his hmong village, we were around the 'kitchen table' and had a great experience, huge contrast with our luxury hotel. Something we like to share with our kids!

Fantastic authentic trek, off the beaten track. - This trek started from our accommodation and we went through many villages with rice fields, farms and traditional homes. Picturesque scenery, we took the difficult path on our trek as there were two options catering for all abilities. Our tour guide Mr Sinh was amazing, he shared so much knowledge with us about the people, the villages, culture, crop types and animals that we saw along the way. He was easy to talk to and understand. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at a restaurant in the village. We finished our tour at the herbal baths which was an interesting place to see. Definitely a great tour to see the area without too many other people also. Highly recommended.

An adventure we'll remember. - We had a fantastic time on our 1 day trek from Sapa to Ta Phin, mostly due to our amazing guide Lan. We took the more difficult path to begin the journey which due to recent rain and wildlife (buffalo) was extremely muddy and slippery in parts. We only made it through due to the caring and friendly manner of our guide. Lan went above and beyond to make our trek a success in difficult conditions all with a smile on her face and a willingness to laugh with us. The food at the lunch stop was delicious and very generous servings. We took the easier path after lunch but the views were just as spectacular. It really was off the beaten track and we only saw a handful of other travellers over the day. Lan was very good at sharing local culture and customs with us and explaining things we sw along the way. An adventure we'll never forget.

Wonderful - Mo was wonderful. She really looked after my mum, which I appreciated greatly. The walk is hard, but we opted for an easier choice. We took a car part way. The lunch was yum and the scenery beautiful. Mo good luck and all the best.

Great trekk! - Very nice trekking route! We were picked up by Mrs Mu from the hotel in Sa Pa and we started the descent into the valley with rice terraces and villages. We passed through the Lao Chai and Ta Van villages and Mrs Mu told us more about her ethnic group, the Black Hmong. Lunch was included and it was great, good food, big portions and the place was really clean! The trekk lasted about 5h, it was not difficult, but we did get very tired because of the constant sun and hotness. All in all, high recommend to anyone coming to Sa Pa!

Great trek off the beaten track - We had a great 1 day trek in Sapa. We chose the off the beaten track itinerary and we truly met no one during the whole track aside from two lovely Hmong woman that accompanied us. Zing (our guide) was great, her English was amazing, she explained to us everything and we ended up not only enjoying our trek but learned a lot about Sapa and the minority people living here.

Beautiful day tour away from tourism - The guide (Mrs Mu) was very nice. She said a lot. The English itself was good. She had her own dialect, so you couldn't understand everything. But it was perfectly fine. I could choose the path and we really went off-track. And not for tourist reasons. And right through fields and on trails. Lunch was also okay. It wasn't crowded. Even if it is a point of the tours.
