All as promised and what we had dreamed of!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - We saw nose monkeys, Makak monkeys, crocodiles and glowing Fireflies. Everything we dreamed of. And good dinner. We even rented a car with a driver and was driven to and from the place did not give very much extra to not have to drive around and gather other hotel guests up.

Definitely a good opportunity to see the elusive proboscis monkeys - Yes, it is a long journey out to this spot on the river mangroves from the city, but it is worth it. Obviously, your enjoyment is affected by what wildlife you see - and the tour company has no control over that. However, it is a nice trip with good buffet and then a very pleasant cruise on the river and the guides are experts who do really well to spot the monkeys especially. We were lucky enough to see several, even though they are quite hard to spot among the treetops. If you are wanting to see the elusive proboscis monkey whilst in Borneo then I'd certainly recommend doing this tour to give yourself a great opportunity. The firefly bit wasn't so exciting as hard to photograph but it was still nice to see so many out at one of the bushes as we headed back.

An Incredible Borneo Learning Experience!! - What an unforgettable travel experience! Our Tour Guide was very knowledgeable of the jungle we sailed through, as well as the monkeys in the trees, so his narration and monkey-knowledge made the trip a great success. I felt as if I was on an Indiana Jones movie set as we cruised down the dark black water river through the jungle spotting monkeys in their natural environment up in the mangrove trees, constantly snapping photos of them as we sailed along. It was very rainy the day of our cruise, so we hardly saw any fireflies that night - they don't like rain - but the monkeys and the included lunch made up for it. Be advised it was a 2-2.5 hour drive to get to the river cruise from my Kota Kinabalu hotel on an unfinished, bumpy road, in a van with 7 other customers, one of whom made the Driver turn off the air-conditioner because she was too cold. The rest of us in the van suffered, but it wasn't the end of the world on ou trip home. This cruise is a great experiential and educational opportunity for people of all ages to enjoy, whether travelling solo or with a partner, friends or family. I highly recommend it.

Amazing and knowledgable experience! - Excellent trip! Sunali was an amazing and engaging tour guide. The food beat expectations and the fire flies were magical. Definitely would recommend again.

Great experience - Communication beforehand was great, pickup was on time. Our guide Sulani was very friendly. Transport to and from the Klias river was comfortable. And of course the cruises were awesome. The guides were great with finding and showing us wildlife, and the fireflies. Great afternoon and evening

Great tour - Great tour, we saw lots of wildlife, our guide Khaty was great and the food was delicious. It’s quite a long bumpy drive but this was clear before I booked, so just remember to bring something to do for the journey.

Fireflies! - A nice trip out from Kota Kinabalu. Unfortunately quite an uncomfortable road journey, due to the ongoing roadworks making the ground very bumpy at times. We saw Hornbills and Proboscis Monkeys. The venue produced a very nice meal prior to us embarking on our search (in the pouring rain) for the fireflies and we weren't disappointed!

Would do it again - It was a nice trip. Our tour guide Catty was very friendly and spoke perfect English, the van driver and boat driver were both very safe and friendly. Saw 3 kings of monkeys and fireflies. The food was ok. Nice trip, worth doing!

Klias river Cruise - Well organized and everything promise you would see seen. Food ok, tour guide very helpful. The only downside is the time getting to the venue from Kota Kinabalu

Horrible Tour Guide (lazy Khatty) - The tour itself was average if you have not seen monkeys or fireflies before. The drive was way too long … we spent about 5 hours in the car on this 9 hour tour. The worst thing was our tour guide, Ms Khatty. She did not provide much narrative during the car ride so it was quite boring. She was the last to join the group (only after the driver picked up all the tourists) and the first to leave (driver had to take a detour to drop her home) before any of the tourists were dropped off. She is probably one of the worst guides I have ever seen.
