Here, you will have the chance to see different species of birds and animals (e.g. Rhino, mouse deer, barking deer, civet, Binturong, pygmy elephants, clouded leopards, Malayan tigers, Orang Utans, Proboscis monkeys etc). Visit the Botanical Garden where you can see variety species of plants such as pitcher plants, wild ginger, ferns, medicinal plants, rubber trees etc. Around noon time, transfer back to the city hotel for free at leisure.

The Lok Kawi Wildlife Park, operated by the Sabah Wildlife Department which falls under the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment, stretches across approximately 280 acres of land. This includes the Botanical Site overseen by the Sabah Forestry Department and the Zoological Site. Catering to families, the park is home to a diverse array of exotic and threatened species such as Sumatran rhinoceros, Proboscis monkeys, Malayan tigers, Orang Utans, Borneo Pygamy elephants, and vibrant hornbill birds. The Botanical section offers a 1.4 km pathway to the Herbal and Ginger Garden where visitors can gain a firsthand look at the renowned pitcher plant (nepenthes sp) and get a close-up view of some uncommon plant species. Another prominent feature in this region is the presence of dipterocarp trees.
