• Sabaneta - You will be picked up at your hotel to take you to Sabaneta in a less than an hour drive through Medelln’s metropolitan area. When you arrive, you will start by walking through the coffee crops and learning about the seeds, and the coffee plants. You will learn to identify the perfect coffee beans, the plants’ production cycles, as well as the most significant problems of farming these plants. After walking through the crops, you will move to the next stages to see how coffee is prepared, classified and dried before being roasted. After, you will learn from a Master Coffee Roaster why this is a crucial step in coffee making. Through this process, you will understand the importance of the master roaster’s and the coffee farmer’s work to achieve the best flavor and quality.
• Urbania Caf Calle 8 Astorga - You will leave the farm and move north to Urbania Coffee Shop where you will taste the coffee produced on the farm you just visited. Finally, you will return to your hotel.
