Definitely Worth The Money! - I booked this tour the day before and was kept up to date with the meeting location and time to the point of my pick up. Having done a tour the day before I was expecting a mini bus but on arrival I found my transport was a lot smaller. In fact due to a cancellation at the last minute Gastavo the tour guide told me that this was going to be a one to one tour! We began our tour by looking at the old sea port where the slaves were shipped into Rio. The story was fascinating and we left the old harbour and looked at the olympic Boulevard. Time has taken its toll on the colourful artwork but it is still there reminding you of some of the countries involved in the Games. It was nice to see the electric trains running through the Boulevard too. We continued our journey looking at old and new architecture and fantastic Churches. There were more reminders of the Games on route and finally we found our way onto the waterfront for the Museum of Tomorrow and a walk past a number of different ships and a submarine. I enjoyed the Museum and anyone who would like to know more about our planet would find it very worthwhile. We ended our trip at the Confeitaria Columbo and took in the magnificent interior and enjoyed something to eat and drink before bringing the tour to an end and travelling back to the pick up location. As a tour guide Gastavo was very knowledgeable which is not surprising for someone who has been in the business for over 20 years and has a History degree. He was full of energy throughout the tour and was only too willing to answer questions and take photographs for me to make my day memorable. For the price I paid this was a fantastic tour for anyone who loves culture and really getting to know the place you are visiting. But having a personal tour made it even more special. I’m glad that I chose this and would definitely recommend it to people wanting a great way to spend 4 hours in Rio.

Historical Rio - We asked for an Italian guide and met Monica for our last day in Rio. We had already done the main touristic attractions and sightseeings, so she offered us a city tour through the historical part of the “centro” and its hidden churches, the cafes and the historical buildings, revealing the different layers of the city. It’s the tour we loved the most and Monica is the greatest guide!

A fun day in Rio! - We had a great time on this tour. It is a half day tour so it felt like a perfect amount of time to spend if you are not looking for an activity that takes up the whole day. This is a walking tour so keep that in mind when picking out your shoes for the day. We loved getting to see the city and learn some more about the history. Our tour guide was great. It was us and one other couple so we got through the tour pretty quickly. The van picked us up and dropped us back off at our hotel

The rebirth of Rio. - C2Rio is actually an excellent Tourism Agency. My wife and I went on the tour, advised by the excellent guide Renato Marinho and we were very satisfied with the service, we visited the AcquaRio (good, but with our impression spoiled as we already knew the one in Lisbon), the Olympic Boulevard with the magnificent murals of Kobra and at the end we went to the Museum of Tomorrow, which deserved to have dedicated more time, such as its grandeur. Unmissable tour.

Explore Rio - Learning about Brasil, and walking throughout the city was excellent. Oh, the best part was the pastry shop, Confeitaria Colombo...yummy. One big tip is to wear comfort shoes and be ready to walk, and it's worth it!

Old Rio Diwntown - Greatly enjoyed this tour. Although we had done a couple of city tours already, we got a great overview of the old downtown that we had not seen including Little Africa, the historic churches, Olympic Avenue, as well as the Museum of the Future. We also got to taste sweat and savory pastries from historic Confeitaria Colombo and viewed the vintage building. Get ready for a lot of walking if you take this tour, but our guide Carlos made it fun and we took frequent breaks to accommodate all fitness levels. Carlos was very knowledgeable about the city and very enthusiastic. There was some confusion regarding the pick up location: the Viator confirmation said our hotel, but the vendor confirmation said we had to go to another hotel. It was resolved after going back in forth on What’s Up App, but just a heads up to make sure you check both confirmations and quickly get any discrepancies resolved.

Olympic City - Nice tour going around the neighborhood. It was a warm day and we just arrived the night before from a long 26-hour flight so we were both a bit tired. We also expected to see more of the Olympic site. Our guide Gabriella was nice and informative though.

Average - The tour was OK. Lots of walking. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and patient. The museum of tomorrow is a waste of money! lol. We really could’ve just stopped at a few keys places and just let us shop and eat. Doesn’t need to be 4-5 hours. Also, the tour is shared! You will be stopping and picking up other people. That takes up time too.
