- Valley of the Kings - Upon arrival in Luxor, you will head to the west bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where New Kingdom pharaohs carved their tombs into the mountains to hide their treasures and protect their mummies.
- Howard Carter House - Next, visit the domed mud-brick house where Howard Carter lived during his search for Tutankhamun’s tomb. The house, surrounded by a garden on a barren slope above the road from Deir Al Bahari to the Valley of the Kings, has been restored and decorated with pictures and tools from the excavations. An exact replica of Tutankhamun’s burial chamber has been constructed at the edge of the garden, along with an exhibition about the tomb’s discovery.
- Art Valley Alabaster Factory - After that, you will have the chance to visit the alabaster factory, where stones are still brought from the quarry and crafted into various handmade items, just like in ancient Egyptian times.
- Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Then, visit the mortuary temple of the famous Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari. Discover her beautiful temple and the intriguing story of her and her nephew.
- Tombs of the Nobles - Luxor - Next, you will move to the Valley of the Nobles, which houses the tombs of nobles in Luxor, such as Ramose, Senniffer, Menna, and over 400 other Theban nobles. These tombs, nestled in the foothills opposite the Ramesseum, are marked by numbers and feature beautifully carved scenes.
- Valley of the Queens - Then, visit the Valley of the Queens, where the wives and sons of pharaohs were buried. Known in ancient times as Ta-Set-Neferu, meaning ‘the place of beauty,’ it contains more than 90 known tombs, usually consisting of an entrance passage, a few short halls, and a sarcophagus chamber. You will visit three tombs of queens and their sons, such as the tombs of Amun-Khepshef, Khaem-Waset, and Queen Tyti, wife of King Ramses III. The most notable tomb is that of Nefertari, the favorite queen of Ramses II.
- Habiba Hand Weaving - Then, you will move to Habiba for hand weaving, specializing in hand-woven scarves made from Egyptian cotton, linen, and wool. Local hand weavers also sell machine-made scarves and shawls made from cotton and cotton blends. Located in a rural setting on the west bank in Luxor with views of the nobles’ tombs, women still work here, making handmade cloth from pure cotton, giving you the experience of how they use traditional hand-weaving machines.
- Colossi of Memnon - End your tour on the west bank with a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon.
- Temple of Karnak - Return to the east bank to see the largest temple ever built, Karnak Temple, which was constructed over 2,000 years and covers an area of about 63 acres. Take some nice pictures among its huge pillars and obelisks.
- Safaga - At the end of the tour, you will drive back to Safaga.
