The alpine lake we’re approaching is strictly reachable by foot - no other transportation methods are allowed. Please be advised that it’s not the right spot for boating or any kind of watersports. However, with our equipment and knowledge, we can devise outdoor activities practically anywhere near a body of water.

4C7W+96 Suðureyri - Does it feel like a mission? Would like to go for a full day adventure? We are offering unforgettable wakeboarding and hiking experience for beginners and experienced riders. This tour takes you riding in magnificent alpine lake next to a small fishing village called Suðureyri. This is a day trip allowing you to experience two activities, hiking and wakeboarding while being surrounded by stunning views. We will be able to provide snorkeling gear to experience crystal clear water of Vatnadalsvatn too. We highly recommend it as a full day adventure activity. During the day your guide will be happy to tell stories of history, folklore and life in our small town.
After meeting the guide will provide required information and gear for the guests. We pack our gear and lunch. Afterwards, we will jump in our van and drive via a very scenic route to the beginning of the hike. The hike will be 1 hour long one way. After reaching the lake your guide will set up towing gear for wakeboarding. We will ride 1 person at a time. It is a great opportunity for others to hike around or grab snorkel and mask to check what is under it. After an unforgettable day we will hike down to our car.

Additional Information
- Guests need to be able to hike 2-3 km distance in moderate difficulty hiking trail carrying 15-20 kg backpack
- Know how to swim and be comfortable in the water
- We can provide gear for a person who is not heavier than 100 kg and not taller than 195 cm
- Previous wakeboarding, snowboarding, surfing, skateboarding experience and general fitness increase a chance to stand up and ride on a first trip

Amazing tour! - Had an amazing time hiking and wakeboarding in the westfjords! Would highly recommend doing a tour with Justas and Orla! They were super friendly and knowledgeable of the area!

Truly breathtaking adventure - Amazing day full of adventure and fun. Being able to wake board in a remote alpine lake is truly breathtaking, something I would never have thought possible. Justas was a great guide and helped my partner get up and wake board for the first time. Would definitely recommend to anyone spending time in the west fjordlands

Looking forward to do it again - Excellent first wakeboarding experience! The trip was stoning, surrounded by the Icelandic pristine landscapes, Justas told us stories about the place, the nature and animals. Being my first time doing this sport was bit tricky but the team was super helpful and made my experience incredible fun! Totally recommended if you want to try something different that the normal outdoor trips!

Full day adventure !! - An amazing day out! Justas was a great guide and showed us how to work the winch as well as offer wakeboarding tips. The lake was stunning and off the main tourist paths! Such a fun adventure in the Westfjords! Wakeboarding is class!
