We’re going on a bear hunt, that became a teddy bear picnic. - What a fabulous trip! We docked in Saguenay as part of our cruise. None of the cruise trips appealed, however on searching Google I found this trip. I am so glad we booked it. We were taken from the port in a mini bus to the woodland area. We got out of the bus and within 2 mins we were in the view tower. There’s 3 so plenty of room. As soon as we got inside we saw our first bear. Not long after another 4 joined and we also spotted 3 cubs up a tree. It really was amazing! Afterwards we were taken on a short ride in the forest to a waterfall and walked for about 20 mins down stream. It was so peaceful and pretty. We then returned back to port. A very enjoyable day! Thank you so much for letting us be part of this wonderful day.

Black Bears the highlight of my visit - Really enjoyable trip, Emilie was very knowledgeable about the area and had great delivery. Emilie was very funny. The Black Bears appeared and we must have seen 12+ black bears. We saw a grouse, moose tracks, grey jays and blue jays. The highlight was the young bear climbing down a tree close to the viewing point. The optional trail back down the gorge was great for photo opportunities.

Bears and walk good, drive bit long - Bit of long drive. Pretty drive tho. Beautiful fall colors. Bears were nice to see. They dump food out so the bears all gather there. View thru glass windows. The trail walk/hike after was great. Waterfalls, beautiful scenery, etc. Chocolate covered blueberries were delicious after trip!

Incredible opportunity to see bears - Truly special to see the black bears in their habitat. Out kind was friendly and fun and the walk after along the salmon river was beautiful. My only comment was we were time 20 minutes walk and this was fine for us but it ended up being 45 minutes and we had some people in the group that found it a challenge.

Disappointed tour. Disorganized - Tour company unorganized from the beginning. We arrived 30 minutes early as instructed and was told to come back in 15 minutes. When we arrived back in 14 minutes, the small bus was full! They had to put us in a second bus. This bus then waited 10-15 minutes for someone who fell off a bike and the driver had to get them first aid. Once we arrived at conservation area, waiting another 20 minutes plus for 2 other guest to be brought from the ship. This couple said their excursion was over booked and were placed in ours. We never got that 30 minutes plus back, which meant our time waiting to see the bears was cut short. I understand you can not “command” bears to come but it was a disappointment, since that was the point of the tour, not sitting and waiting for people because of over booking. Also, we arrived back to our ship a half hour early!
