Unforgettable day with Delton! - We had an absolutely amazing time with Delton at Dr. Fun Tours in Ocho Rios, Jamaica! Delton is an incredibly kind, professional, and respectful person who truly made our trip to Nine Miles unforgettable.
On the way to Nine Miles, he shared so much about the history of Jamaica, pointed out various communities, and explained fascinating aspects of Jamaican culture and local fruits. Once we arrived, he took the time to give us more insights and made sure we had an incredible experience.
On the way back, Delton went above and beyond by taking a different route through the mountains. This allowed us to see even more beautiful scenery, learn about additional communities, and even meet some Rastafari. The views were breathtaking, and it felt like a completely personalized tour.
We were also hungry during the trip, and Delton kindly took us to a wonderful spot in the mountains where we enjoyed some delicious food. He further also took us to a local food market so that we could buy some fresh fruits and vegetables.
We cannot recommend Dr. Fun Tours enough! If you’re considering booking a tour, don’t hesitate—Delton will make it an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Delton, for your kindness and for such a memorable trip. All the best to you and your family! Best, Maria and Nico

Great Tour - Really fun day. Our guide, Orette, met us at the cruise port and drove us to Bob Marley’s house. It took about an hour and a half to get there. The bar had flaming shots and the tour was great. A band plays a few Bob Marley songs for you and you can light a candle at his grave. We didn’t have a lot of time to stop and eat lunch but our guide knew of a fantastic jerk bbq place where we grabbed the most amazing jerk chicken and smoked fish before heading back to the cruise port with an hour to spare. Highly recommend Dr. Fun Tours!

Dr Fun made this long trip safe and entertaining! - Delton was a great tour guide. We had a long drive to the Bob Marley tour from Ocho Rios (over 2 hours) on long windy, bumpy roads, but he kept us safe and entertained the whole way! He gave us lots of information about Jamaica, the people, the customs, the language, etc. The tour itself was interesting once arriving at the destination we had a funny guide named "Captain Crazy", we understand the source of his name! We saw where Bob was born and his place of rest. Lots of memorabilia along the way. Just know there is a lot of weed smoking everywhere, inside and out, if that makes you uncomfortable, you might want to avoid it. Lots of places to purchase souvenirs. We had lunch at the restaurant as well... it was good food, but limited menu. On our way back Delton was very flexible with us and allowed us to make a few stops along the way. We felt very comfortable with him, and would highly recommend this tour w/Delton.

Excellent private trip to Bob Marley's mausoleum, Blue hole and Bamboo rafting. - Dr.Fun (Delton) arrived on time for our hotel pick up in Ocho Rios for our private tour of Bob Marley Birth and rest place which took just over an hour to get there and was not as bumpy ride as expected which was due to Delton excellent driving. Delton gave us so much information on route and once we arrived at the mausoleum.
Was such a great experience and I highly recommend going if you like Bob Marley's music.
As it was a private tour we where able to add on going to blue hole and a Bamboo rafting, so do speak to him direct if wanting to add this on for a full day or just half a day trip to bob marley rest place.
We used Dr.Fun twice over our week long trip, going to kingston for the first time which was amazing as well.
When I return to Jamaica I will definitely be using Dr.Fun again.

Yaaamon! - Anyone coming to Jamaica needs to go on this tour. It was very interesting to see the home Bob grew up in and to see al lot of the photos from his family. There was also a reggae band there playing his music and our tour guide was great sharing all of his knowledge on some of the inspiration behind Bob Marley's music. One thing...it is a LONG and rough trip to get there!

Disappointing... - Disappointing when you see the tourist purpose of the visit when it should be a place of remembrance, pilgrimage and reflection. None of that. The goal is to make the visitor spend money, and there all the means are good! T-shirts and other souvenirs are inevitable items for any self-respecting fan. But what does an art gallery do that has nothing to do with Bob Marley??? What does a luxury goods store (watches, jewelry, perfumes) do???? It's like an airport duty free! Not to mention the almost mandatory purchase of a candle to place near the mausoleum. Not to mention tips for a band that plays us quickly 1 song. Not to mention the "hallucinogenic" herbal tea (which has only the name by the way). Not to mention the tips for the guide. To sum up: an entrance fee of $32 + tips= $50 for a maximum of 25 minutes of visit... If you have anything else to do that day, go your way.

Over priced for what it was! - I felt like the whole purpose of the tour was to ensure that you left with an empty wallet. There were chances to buy things and tip for things that you didn't want. I thought that the $35 tour guide fee was a little steep, then there was the chance to buy a Bob Marley special drink for $10 followed by a candle to light in the mausoleum for a few more dollars. Then there was a "band" which played a Bob Marley song which was expected to be tipped. At the end, the guide (who, to be fair was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic) also expected a tip. I came away feeling that I had been fleeced!
