best birthday ever !! - Dunns River falls is very beautiful! i can see why its one of jamaicas top attractions, the water was so refreshing ,kinda cold when we started but it felt so good once we got used it, i went with my family for my birthday everybody had a great time, im glad we did it , from swimming to climbing the falls , our driver was the best his name was Hasani

Our driver was great,... - Our driver was great, right on time, and loved that it was a private tour with just us. The activities themselves were fun, the bamboo raft ride, ATV ride and Dunn’s River Falls; however, not worth almost $70O USD. The bamboo raft tour guide was great, but the ride itself is about 15 minutes. They then make a “stop” on a riverbank where we are approached by locals to purchase their items with “no pressure”. The ATV ride is fun, tons of opportunities for photographs. Dunn’s River Falls was amazing, great experience to have and an absolutely gorgeous view of the beach. Be sure to wear water shoes that are sturdy and have a waterproof case for your phone to grab some shots along the way. You go up with a group of others and a tour guide and videographer. They charge $40 USD at the end for the pictures taken and a video of the experience (you can use credit cards, Apple Pay, or Venmo). At the end of course you are asked for gratuity from the tour guide and videographer, although numerous signs around the park state “Gratuities not expected”. We planned on tipping and appreciated the help and the experience but being asked several times was a bit offensive. When you are done, you have no choice but to walk through local vendors within the park to make your way to the parking lot. They are extremely aggressive and although we politely declined we were literally followed out to our vehicle. I understand and respect that this is their livelihood; however, when going to a location for an experience that should not be allowed within the park you had to pay entrance to. The drive from our hotel in Montego Bay was 2 hours, so we realize the private ride itself was part of the excursion fee; however keep in mind the entrance fee for Dunn’s River is $25 USD per person, a 15 minute bamboo raft ride, and a 45 minute ATV ride shouldn’t cost almost $700. Between gratuities and such it was about a $900 day, but you only live once, right? My advice? Book a private ride separately and pay your entrance fees to Dunn’s River alone. If you want to do the bamboo raft and ATV rides, that would probably be less expensive than purchasing a package.
