- We only allow children 8 years old or older to ride a horse.
- A child must be able to understand and quickly respond to directional cues to be kept safe on the trail.
- There is no riding double with your child and there are no exceptions to the minimum age requirement.
- For children 8 yrs and younger, we do offer hand lead pony rides.

This was my second time riding with Pine River stables & I loved this time even more! The first time I came with a large group of about 10 on a weekend. But this time it was just me and my friend on our off day from work which was a Tuesday. My horse name was Alice and my friend rode Les. Zoe was our tour guide. She was so personable and answered any questions we had and pointed out flowers and animals along the way! I try to ride at least once a summer, but hopefully more. You get a nice hour long ride so it is money well spent! Can’t wait to be back soon!🙂👋🏾
