Highlights
  • Fort Frederick - Perched atop Richmond Hill at the center of St. George’s, Fort Frederick is a bastion type fort, which offers a 360 view of St. George’s. After a walk through its grand arches, you look southward onto the town of St. George’s and admire the picturesque Carenage and northward to the rolling mountain ridges covered in lush vegetation and quaint houses. Today, Fort Frederick is an attraction of beautiful vistas and various levels with enchanting perspectives of the capital city of Grenada.
  • Carenage - The Carenage is the beautiful waterfront of St. George’s, lined with elegant colonial buildings and colorful Caribbean style dwellings, with restaurants, bar and shops. Built by the French in 1650, St. George’s, the capital of Grenada, faces a horseshoe-shaped harbor and is surrounded by a hillside of an old volcano crater.
  • Annandale Falls - At Annandale falls you will enjoy the serenity of water cascading over the rocks, simply revel in the beauty and sounds of the falls or you can spend time exploring the trails & surrounding gardens where tropical flowers and trees flourish.
  • Grand Etang Lake - Grand Etang national Park is the place to be when planning your perfect Grenada getaway. As we travel through the mountains you’ll begin to get closer to the Island’s Tropical interiors. At the Park you’ll get to learn about some of it’s beautiful plants and interact with its hospitable animals. You’ll be guided through the beautiful tropical `rainforest to the world’s famous Grand Etang crater Lake which is 1,800 feet (550 m) above sea level and one of the two crater lakes on the Island. At this point you’ll have a perfect view of mount Qua Qua, feed the lake’s fishes and experience the peace of the water’s edge.
    - House of Chocolate - House of Chocolate is a unique and beautiful hand crafted mini-museum portraying the history of chocolate. It features a small café with delicious chocolates made onsite; you can also enjoy other treats including ice cream, cakes and drinks. A small boutique carries a selection of all things made with cocoa in Grenada.

Eating My Way Through Grenada - Jeremy, our tour guide, is very knowledgeable about Grenadian history and the local vegetation—trees, fruits, plants, etc. (He should become a botanist and offer herbal medicines.). The food was plentiful and tasty. We ate in places where only those in the know go. Besides eating, we visited many of the Grenadian sites and neighborhoods. I firmly recommend this tour for those visiting Grenada and wanting to know more.

I highly recommend this tour - Guide arrived on time. First stop was at a bakery and we were able to taste the typical Grenadian breakfast which was some fried bakes and salfish with some cocoa tea. It continued with stops at the distillery, fort, chocolate place, other food stops for lunch which were also very yummy including the delicious local passion fruit juice, the grand etang national park where we were greeted by some of the friendliest monkeys in the world OMG I’ve seen some not so friendly monkey but the mona monkeys were so adorable making me wish I had one as pet. We were given history lessons of the food and culture by our very knowledgeable guide Mike. This is a highly recommended tour

Good food - Jeremy, our guide, was very knowledgeable. The food was authentic and excellent along the way. He took us to some out of the way places right in the heart of St. George’s.

Not impressed 😕 .very disappointed. - The price was not worth it for a half day trip. Would have cost me less to rent a car and took myself around for a lot cheaper. We went to the chocolate factory and drove past ft. Fredrick. Stop to grab a few dishes. Even a native confirmed what I thought. The driver was just doing what he was told to do so I don't fault him in any way.

Worst experience of a food tour - If I can leave 0 stars I would. We booked a half day tour which on the site states it starts at 9am. The day before we get a text stating our tour starts at 1130am. Then the day of I confirm with them to make sure they are still coming to pick us up, they then push the time back to 1pm. Once we are picked up by a very nice driver, we are then told we only have one food place to go to and a chocolate place. For $150 a piece, that’s not what we wanted or expected. The owner denied giving us our money back. While at the only food place on our $150 a piece tour, we go to this spot where our food is already packaged and cold. There is no where to sit in the restaurant so we had to take the food to go. The next and final stop is the chocolate tour which consisted of a nice man telling us the history and showing us how they make chocolate(10mins). We then had shredded broken tiny pieces of chocolate as our “samples”. This place is a scam and I will Never support them again. Horrible! And down right shameful!

Save your money, it's a total ripoff! - This was an awful tour. Do not take this. You don't eat all day until the very end. The food was mediocre at best and that was being generous. The operators are very dishonest. I wrote another review and they responded back with all lies. I have 7 other people who will verify that we weren't fed until 4:00pm. You can not call this a food tour and starve your clients. We only went to half of the places advertised. Stay far away from the tour!!!!
