Mythical port of the Basque Country, today fishing still remains the main activity there. - La Corniche Basque - We will follow the Basque cornice, a protected natural area, located between Hendaye and Ciboure. Today the hiking trail that winds around this cliff is closed to the public because of its fragility. We will have the chance to discover these Flysch cliffs from the sea.
- Chateau Observatoire Abbadia - You will discover Loya Bay, a little gem of the Basque coastline wedged between the cliffs of the Corniche and Hendaye, and overlooked by Abbadia Castle.
- Rochers des deux Jumeaux - Below the castle, we can admire the 2 Jumeaux, emblematic rocks. These two sentinels who watch over the open sea have resisted the onslaught of the ocean.
- Hondarribia - Hondarribia is home to a small fishing port which remains one of the most important in the Basque country.
- Jaizkibel - It is also the beginning of the Jaizkibel (mountain range) which shelters the Bay of Pigs, and the island of Amuitz, the water there is often transparent and very calm. We will make a short swimming stop there for those who wish. (Snorkeling equipment available)
- Fort de Socoa - We will make a short detour to the port of Socoa dominated by its fort, a historical treasure of the Basque country and witness to a rich and captivating history.

Meet at the 3rd pontoon (Ponton A) of the Quai de l'Infante, (Same pontoon as the Maritime shuttle) at the port of Saint-Jean-de-Luz.

Fun and Informative Boat Trip - Great fun. Very informative skipper. Exhilarating trip along the coast viewing some lovely bays that can only be reached by sea. A swim stop for those who wished. Very good value for money.

Great experience, beautiful ride. - Great time! We enjoyed the coastline like never before. Paul is very nice and explains a lot about the Basque coast. The atmosphere on board the boat was very good (9 passengers with us). The boat shakes a little due to the waves and the tide but no pitching and therefore no seasickness!

To be done without question. - Great welcome by Paul. The explanations were great. It was perfect with adults as well as children who could enjoy the paddle. It was beautiful. Thank you for this wonderful time. We recommend children (5 children) as adults (4 adults).

Top beach in the French Basque Coast - St Jean de Luz is probably one of the nicest beaches on the Frena Basque Coast. It has gold clean sand with clear ocean water. Its most impressive asset is NO WAVES and no riptide’s. It has numerous restaurants around the boardwalk and plenty of parking. A great beach day if visiting the Basque region of France.

Great sightseeing! - We had a fantastic day with Paul on his boat. Departed from Saint-Jean-de-Luz along the Basque coast to Spain. Paul had something nice to tell about every part of the coastline, beautiful surroundings with sights that you can really only see from the water. Thanks Paul!
