A Safe & Interesting E-Bike Tour - When you visit the island, you have to be concerned if an e-bike tour can be safe. The way Fat Tire runs this tour, it is. We took the Historic Tour in the South Central Area of the island. We can’t speak of the St. John tour, but if they follow the same practices, you will be fine. The main benefit is they have two extra guides that are for traffic control. They will help block and /or control traffic at intersections if needed. The majority of our time was on the side roads, roads less traveled and the extra help worked well on the busy thoroughfares. We never felt unsafe. They also have a trailing truck that keeps the public traffic a car length away and they are also there to address any maintenance issues, battery changes etc. You ride the island with an earpiece that allows you to hear most of what the lead guide is pointing out as you travel. The majority of the good content is at the various stops where other guides, specific to the location, walk you through the site. The historic island locations helped us get an understanding of the history of the island. As always, chat up the guides and be friendly, they will share all kinds of good stories about their way of life. The historic tour requires visitor passes to the National Parks, which cost $15 USD extra per person which we paid in cash at the first National Parks site. The overall time of the tour was about four hours and it was a good experience for us. This was our second e-bike tour as a group so we were already through the learning curve of how to operate the bikes. This is a little hilly of a route, with some potholes and poorly patched asphalt to navigate. I would not take children on this route, it is too technical for little ones. Athletic, early teens or teens 16 and older have no problem navigating this one.

E-bike tour in St John’s - We had a great experience on this e-bike tour. This was a first for me and as an adventure lover, it fit the bill. The guides were awesome - friendly, funny, made sure everyone was safe and comfortable. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to see some different things.

Fun, safe - great halfday trip - - safety first - always patient - they managed cross traffic to make the ride easy - guides offered customizable, frequent, and very knowledgeable stops. - the roads are very bumpy (not their problem) and the guides do their best to avoid the worst areas. - we had to pay an extra $30 RT from the cruise terminal to their site due to road construction. - the bikes allow you to pedal/not pedal at your discretion with plenty of power.

A must do when in Antigua! - We had the most wonderful time on our tour! Dorian was an awesome tour guide… fun, knowledgeable and very helpful! Alicia was great with the picture taking and she was so super nice. The ride was great through different parts of the city, the market, by beaches, a cute beach bar and to the old fort! The bikes were easy to use, even for a novice like me! I love how we were given thorough instructions on how to use the bikes and we were given time to practice on them. We each had an earpiece so Dorian could share information as we rode and to give us directions throughout the ride. And all the while, Alicia and another gentleman (I’m sorry, I forgot his name) followed us in a car to make sure we safe! Oh, and we received such great photos through email 30 minutes after our tour! I highly recommend!

Fun Island Tour - The two gentlemen tour guides were awesome! Double D we called them. Friendly, knowledgeable and funny! Highly recommend! Great way to see the island!

Awesome bike tour - We had a great time on the bike tour. The bikes were easy to use and fun to ride. We saw a lot of cool sites. Darian and Delroy were awesome guides. They were friendly and funny and very knowledgeable about our surroundings. I would definitely recommend this tour.

St John’s E-bike tour - Our guides were amazing! What we thought would be just a cool ride turned into a detailed tour of the area and its history. We were really impressed and could not have felt safer even riding around on cruise ship day! Well worth the time for this one!

Great tour but take your own pictures. - Tour was great my wife and I had a blast the crew who led the tour were amazing! Only issue is throughout the tour they took pictures for us and told us we didn’t have to worry as the pictures would be emailed. We then never received said pictures. It has now been 4 days since my tour and I have emailed and messaged multiple times and have not received any photos. I would 100% recommend the tour since Dorian, Delroy, and Rafael were amazing guides, but whoever runs the office side of this will not send you your photos so TAKE YOUR OWN.

Where is the video? - Overall the experience was good but we didn’t get taken to the Old Fort as advertised we simply visited a beach where you could see the homes of Tommy Hilfiger and Georgia Armani ! They told us we didn’t need to take photos as they were making a video of the tour and would e mail it to us, to date we have never received it! Would not recommend as we think we didn’t get the video, we assume this was because we didn’t provide sufficient tip!
