Beautiful castle, great views and very good wines - Our Guide was very friendly and gave us a lot of interesting information. The visit itself, the wine tasting was really worth the Award!

Beautiful views and good wines - We had a gourmet tour at La Croizille. We first started with a tour with Isabella (friendly and professional, the toor itself was quite informative), then proceeded to tasting of several different wines and finished with a cheese and charcuterie platter with great views. Definitely recommended! We had a great time.

Excellent tour and tasting with cheese and charcuterie pairing - highly recommend - Our favourite tour and tasting of the weekend. Our guide was excellent and showed us around both vineyards before having a tasting with cheese and charcuterie pairing. Easy to book online and one of very few vineyards that seem to be open for tours/tastings on a Sunday. We enjoyed all the wines and were pleasantly surprised to be offered a further 3 tastings with the pairing. The cheese and charcuterie was plentiful, very nice and we struggled to finish it all (rare for us!). Great views over the vineyards made it a perfect setting for the tasting. We brought 2 cases of wine between us and enjoyed it so much we have booked to return with different friends at the end of August. Highly recommended.

Wonderful location - Wonderful couple of hours in the company of our guide Leia. She was amazing. Confident, articulate in English! Very informative and good fun! Great to see the traditional and modern chateaux alongside each other and the bar option enjoying a platter of meats and cheeses on the terrace overlooking the vineyard alongside 3 further tastings of wine was delightful. Would thoroughly recommend a visit!

Fascinating tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide - Firstly I should say I’m not really a wine drinker! However, I’m interested in the history of the region and the culture and rules around wine making. The opportunity to see two types of Chateux made for a really interesting tour. Unlike some other reviewers, I loved the modern architecture of Chateau La Croizille and the modern approach to such a traditional process. They haven’t turned me into a wine drinker, but I did enjoy the tasting experience!

Happiness to see and drink - Wow! Smiling and friendly welcome, fascinating visit, atypical place, and complete and fun wine explanations. Tasting magnificent wines in a rare place. To do absolutely. In addition, the "gourmet" version of the tasting is a real plus, with a board that is worth the detour.

Just isn’t it - Okay so, the tasting itself cost little to nothing. I believe 16€ for 2 persons. We booked a tasting in English as our French is not the best. The person serving our tasting was nice, but as we booked in English we did expect better explanations about the vineyard, how the wines are made, the wines itself etc. in English. We got to taste 3 different wines, which for us were way to expensive for how they tasted. When we asked wether it was possible to order wine online it was possible but in the shop you would have a special discount. Now we see that the we bought are half the price online, rude. Anyway, if you’re just here to taste wine and buy some for at home I advice you to skip this one.
