On this sunset safari, venture into the Eastern Shores of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park from St Lucia. Our Sunset Drives in the Eastern Shores of iSimangaliso Wetland Park will undoubtedly thrill you. Enjoy the peaceful and graceful time of the sun setting while observing the wildlife. Your ranger, with years of experience in this park, will share their passion with you.

Wildlife in the park includes Rhino (Black & White), Buffalo, Elephant (migrating from the western shores), and Leopard. Unfortunately, no Lions are present in either the western or eastern shores. Other wildlife species include Hippos, Wildebeest, Kudu, Waterbuck, Rietbuck, Impala, and numerous other species.

Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Full Day Big Five Safari

Hluhluwe Game Reserve - Hluhluwe Big Five Safari (Open Safari Vehicle)
Start your day early as we collect you at 5:00 am from your accommodation and head to the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park (approximately a 1-hour drive). This popular safari offers a genuine feel of this magnificent game reserve. With its rolling hills and open savannah grasslands, it remains an incredibly scenic reserve with a rich history, ensuring a magnificent day for a safari.

After breakfast at your lodge (included), we will collect you at 8:00 am for the half-day Bush and Beach safari. You will be in an Open Game Drive Vehicle for the remainder of the drive to Cape Vidal with your knowledgeable and experienced ranger. They will provide incredible information about the park, its history, and various systems.
From St Lucia to Cape Vidal, it is approximately 28 km, depending on the loop roads the ranger takes you on. Enjoy fantastic game viewing en route, and once at Cape Vidal, you will have a chance to enjoy snorkeling in the protected bay of Cape Vidal. (Please note snorkeling is not guaranteed as it is tide and weather dependent).
