Your experience will begin with a sample tasting of our Branchage cider & introduction to the history of the estate while enjoying the breathtaking views.

Next stop is the winery where you will have the opportunity to sample three of our wines and learn about the life of a Jersey vine throughout the year from grape to glass.

You will then visit our authentic working Cognac-Style Distillery where you will find out how we distill our unique Jersey Cream Liqueur and enjoy a tasting.

You will see where we make our very own genuine Jersey fudge, biscuits and preserves, including our famous Jersey Black Butter, watch our chocolatier in action and have the opportunity to sample some treats.

Finally, a refreshing glass of a La Mare spirit of your choice with mixer to enjoy at the end of the tour in the surrounding of our garden room and exquisite gardens.

If you’re a wine enthusiast looking for a unique experience then you’ll love a Premium Tour and Tasting at a local vineyard and distillery in Jersey. You’ll learn about the history of the estate, the different grape varieties grown on site, and the winemaking process. You’ll go behind-the-scenes in the winery & sample some of the estate’s award-winning wines. From a crisp white to a full-bodied red, there is something to suit every palate. During the tasting, a knowledgeable guide will talk you through the different wines, explaining the grape varieties used and the winemaking process. In addition to sampling the delicious wines, visitors on the Experience will also have the opportunity to try the estate’s homemade chocolate, fudge and Jersey Black Butter. Children are also welcome. Under 10s go free and older children receive an apple juice, activity pack and treat.

Premium wine tour - Helen was a very good tour host ! Very knowledgeable and answered questioned no problem ! Wines are great and recommend the cider too….we had a gin after aswell which was lovely too…..chocolate and fudge very nice aswell . Would definitely go back again to see how the single cane vines are doing …if we lived there I would definitely volunteer at harvest time ! Thanks Helen

Lovely visit learning about wines - I would throughly recommend a tour of this winery. Carol was an excellent guide informing everyone of the process of wine making and the history of the state ! Loved tasting all the different wines, cider and liqueurs.

Great Experience - We had a really lovely time here. The grounds are beautiful, the view point at the bottom of the vineyard is lovely to sit and look over to Sark, Herm and Guernsey. The tour was very informative and the staff are amazing with their knowledge and are so friendly and funny. Today when we visited was our Wedding Anniversary and my 50th birthday. We had also booked afternoon tea and the chocolatier had written on our serving platter happy anniversary and birthday in chocolate and put 2 candles in the cakes. It was so lovely and such a nice gesture and made us both smile. We would definitely recommend the premium tour Lots of lovely items to buy in the gift shop could of spent a fortune in here Absolutely lovely afternoon

Amazing - If you visit Jersey you must come here. Had an amazing tour with Carol learnt loads it was also such fun. Beautiful setting and the cafe is incredible. Brought half the shop as it has the best quality local Jersey products. Would highly recommend.

Well worth a vist! Highly recommended! - Spent a lovely sunny day here. Arrived easily by Liberty Bus which stopped at the entrance. Booked a tour and tasting session in advance online. Helen our tour guide was excellent - lots of interesting info delivered in a friendly manner made this a really enjoyable experience. We followed this with a delicious cream tea from the café. Would highly recommend a visit to La Mare.

A must when in Jersey! Highly recommend - John was an incredible tour guide as always. I take many friends on a La Mare vineyard wine tour when they visit and both John and Helen go over and above during the tours. The premium ticket is great value for money and the shop and cafe are a bonus. My partner, who has never been, was very impressed. Looking forward to the next one!

Fabulous tour - What a fabulous tour. We did the Premium which finished with a full size drink. Katie was a wonderful tour guide helped by Bob....what a double act. Katie was a knowledgeable guide and made the tour interesting and fun. Would highly recommend. Easy to get to by bus (no 7 from St Helier) so leave your car to fully enjoy the tasting sessions. Also, loved the tasting table in the shop where you could sample the Black, butter along with some of their other products. If we come back to Jersey, would definitely do again.

Great Tour! - Visited for the premium tour as a family (2 adults & 2 children). The grounds are lovely, with games and play park area for the children, which is a lovely added touch, and appreciated. The tour itself and the guide were brilliant. We sampled all the goodies and the children got chocolates and apple juice galore. This would have been a 5 star day out (at a very reasonable price too) but it was really let down by the receptionist/arrival girl who didn’t even greet us with a hello. Was very rude and didn’t crack a smile. The bar staff and gentleman in the bar area were also very stand-off’ish which resulted in us not staying for lunch as planned. The food did look nice though. The ladies bathroom smelled of sewage which wasn’t the best but they were clean. We would still recommend this as a great day out and we would return again ourselves, but some staff need to be re-trained or reminded how to smile. Manners cost nothing.
