- Pinneys beach - This is a fun and safe introductory experience for beginners to learn the basics of Scuba Diving and safely explore the underwater world. Learn Scuba fundamentals and go for a mini shore dive (max 15 ft) under the close supervision of your instructor. If you fall in love with Scuba, you can sign up for a guided boat dive (extra charge), or continue your education with the PADI Open Water certification course. Certfied Divers can also participate in this lesson as a way to refresh their skills, or opt to advance their skills with a PADI Continuing Education course.
After your lesson, enjoy the vibes at beautiful Pinneys Beach and opt to have lunch at the famous Sunshines Beach Bar.
This class is suitable for Ages 10+. 8-9 year olds can do a similar experience in the swimming pool. Participants are required to fill out a medical questionnaire and may require clearance from a physician prior to participating. Activity is dependent on wind conditions.
Water tends to be calmer in the morning, making 8:00 am the optimal time slot. 11:00 am is a suitable time for cruise ship passengers from St. Kitts. Custom time slots available by request.

Travelers from St. Kitts can take the Basseterre to Charlestown ferry (45 min), followed by a 5 minute taxi ride to Pinneys Beach, or the water taxi from Reggae Beach to Oualie Beach (10 min), followed by a 15 min taxi ride to Pinneys Beach.

Amazing Beginner Dive Experience- For Kids Too! - We had a great dive experience with Amanda, who is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. My 10 year-old had never been diving before and we could not have felt that he was in better hands. Safety is Amanda’s number one priority, but she also leaves room for so much fun and exploration. We saw eels, sting ray, puffer fish, and octopus! If you’re a first timer or a seasoned diver, this is a great experience. Highly recommend it!

So much to see! - We had an awesome time and Amanda was a great instructor. It took some time getting comfortable with the equipment but Amanda was so reassuring and a great teacher. We saw so many different fish, moray eels, anemone, and even a ray! It was the most amazing experience that I can’t wait to try again. It’s the best way to really experience the ocean and the island.

Perfect Introduxtion - My day on Nevis was the best part of my trip. The Try Scuba class was a non- intimidating introduction to the world of scuba. This had been a consideration following many years of snorkeling, but I had been hesitant to enroll in a full course. Amanda made it very approachable and low pressure. I was able to get comfortable with the equipment and learn a few skills. I did not expect to get to do a fairly long dive, so that was a great experience. We saw an octopus, crabs, fish, a sea worm, and some interesting coral and plants all in just the 8-10 feet of water just off shore. It was better than the snorkeling I had done the day before on St Kitts. I also liked being able to go to Sunshine’s next door after as an added bonus. I recommend this experience!

Great experience! Calm, reassuring expert is perfect as a dive instructor. - Amanda is a very experienced dive instructor who was very patient and really focused on safety and helped me re-learn how to scuba. I hadn't gone scuba diving in about 20+ years, so I was a bit apprehensive. Amanda worked with me at my pace, was very calm and reassuring and we ended up having a great dive. She pointed out lobsters, octopus, squid and lots of beautiful, colorful fish. Great location, beautiful dive and a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Amanda for your scuba experience.

Great diving experience - 26th March 2023.
This was a great experience. My wife and I had wanted to try scuba for a while and had a great taster lesson with Amanda. She was very professional, friendly and patient. She explained the physics and mechanics of diving and the scuba equipment.
The sea conditions were't ideal on the day of our taster dive, but Amanda managed to find areas to see lots of the undersea creatures and fish. We would highly recommend Amanda and SoulScuba for a lesson. It was great and good value for a 3-hour lesson !!!

Freaking awesome - Amanda is absolutely fabulous! She was professional, patient and explained things very well. She made us feel comfortable despite the conditions not cooperating. But once we got our bearings, we saw some great critters! I would absolutely visit Amanda again- scratch that: I WILL be visiting Amanda again. Shes great! If a scuba experience is on your bucket list, you cant go wrong with Amanda!

Memories to cherish - Amanda was recommended to us as the ‘go-to girl’ for some diving during our trip to Nevis and as soon as I contacted her I knew why. Professional, friendly, helpful and enthusiastic to show us the delights of our first Caribbean diving experience. We had two fantastic, super chilled dives and the kit was in excellent condition. Fitzroy the boat captain was great company too and if the stars align and we return to Nevis we will be lining up more trips out with the Yoga Scuba Queen 🧜🏻♀️👌👑🐠

Great initial scuba experience! - Amanda is a good teacher if you are looking to get your first taste of scuba diving. She took us through technical aspects prior to jumping in and then into practical aspects, in the water, but before diving in. Then she showed us around in shallow waters to explore the surrounding fauna and flora. It was a great way to get accustomed to the various basic techniques while feeling engaged and entertained. Great first scuba experience - Amanda was an excellent instructor - and I was a nervous participant to begin with - for my first scuba experience. Her instruction was great, equipment was great, and we got to see lobster, octopus, lots of fish and tons of silver dollars! She was patient with the instruction and answered every question - and she stayed right with me when we were in the water. I never felt scared or unsure. I highly recommend Amanda and Soulscuba for any newbie scuba adventurist.
