Pont Suspendu de la Riviere de l’Est - Notable spot in Sainte Rose. This suspension bridge, built in the 19th century, spans 152 meters and was the longest bridge in the world when completed in 1894. It’s now a historic monument.
Notre-Dame des Laves - A unique and must-see site. This church, surrounded by lava, offers a spectacular view. Visitors can explore and learn the full story, including why the lava stopped at the door. A must-visit on the lava route. I loved it!
Anse des Cascades - Beautiful waterfalls with a small stream flowing to the sea. The rocky beach is stunning to behold, located next to a palm forest.
Route des Laves - One of the most beautiful spots in Reunion. A very peaceful and calming place where you can witness the birth of nature and the island’s history.
