Awesome up close elephant experience - Really great experience- the Lake staff clearly love and care for the elephants. A great day getting to cut and feed them sugarcane and walk through the lands with the elephants as they roam. Great lunch included as well. Staff are very nice, want to make sure you have a great time, and will take as many pictures for you as you want!

Hanging with the Giants - SIX STARS!
The Lake Elephant Sanctuary was awesome- Mr Dang and his staff care so much for their “best friends” ( the 6 elephants on site)
Great trip to visit them
To see the elephants in their natural environment, helping to feed and bathe them was a really great experience!
We were able to tour on an overcast rainy day which kept the temps down for us, but the elephants were able to graze and spend more time in the fields & the river with us!
The food and amenities were great and the staff was excellent with our 10 yr old daughter- who had a blast!
We will be back next year again to see Mr. Dang and his elephants!

Exceptional tour with friendly guide - It is an amazing experience. You get up close and personal with 2 elephants, walk with them through their sanctuary and if you would like to you can get into the water and bath them. Cooking class and lunch was great too.

A must, an absolute must - A once in a lifetime opportunity. Your visit with start with a truly amazing meal, one of the best of my trip so far. Then the elephants, it is hard to put into words to be right next to an elephant as she makes eye contact with you, it is moving, beautiful and makes you rethink your place in the world. It was moving, awe inspiring and breathtaking.
It was worth the 22 hours on a plane

Fun half day - Elephant Sanctuary is about a 10 minute drive south of the airport. We had 8 people on our tour. Day started off with a half hour review of the plans. We first feed an elephant that was recovering from a foot issue. She seemed well cared for. Then we went on a nature walk where we met three more elephants waiting for us on the walk. After feeding them we walked with the elephants back to camp. Here they drank water and the they laid down in the lake. You are offered the option to go in the lake and scrub and dump water on them. The elephants seem to really enjoy cooling off and getting the scrub down. Afterwards you can shower off. Then you make a Papaya salad with instructions. Afterwards you have lunch with a nice buffet. Elephants seemed happy and they had room to move about the property. I would recommend.

Fantastic experience - This was an amazing experience! Deang is passionate about "his" elephants and their welfare. There were only 5 people in our group, which meant we got so close to the elephants. We fed them sugar cane and then trekked through a bit of the jungle with them. We then had the opportunity to get in the water pool with them to scrub them. After that we did a little cooking class which was fun and then had a delicious lunch before heading back to our hotel.

A must do in Phuket! - A must do in Phuket! It was by far the highlight of our trip. We learned how to properly feed the elephants, walked with them through the jungle, and bathe them. It was one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. Would do this tour again and again, highly recommend.

Magical Experience! - This tour was absolutely phenomenal: an unforgettable experience from start to finish! We were picked up directly from our hotel, which made everything effortless right from the beginning. Upon arriving at the farm, we jumped straight into preparing a fresh salad with our families. All the ingredients and tools were thoughtfully laid out for us, and the staff guided us with clear, step-by-step instructions. The end result? A surprisingly delicious salad that we all enjoyed together. Next, we were treated to a buffet of incredible Thai cuisine, with more than enough food and water to keep us comfortable and hydrated. After lunch came one of the highlights: we harvested sugar cane and fed it to the elephants. Watching these gentle giants calmly take food from our hands with their trunks was both heartwarming and thrilling. We then hiked alongside the elephants, who were full of personality and very entertaining. To cap it all off, we got to bathe them, which was a joyful, hands-on experience that left us feeling connected to these majestic animals. It was clear throughout that the elephants are deeply cared for and genuinely happy in their environment. At the end of the tour, our guide surprised us with a collection of beautiful photos he had taken along the way: a perfect way to remember such a special day. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough; it was a truly meaningful and magical experience!
