- The Lake Phuket Elephant Nursery Ethical Sanctuary - 11.30 am. Start your day with a pickup from your accommodation in a luxury, air-conditioned van. From there, take a scenic drive through beautiful scenery to the sanctuary located in the jungle. Meet your guide and learn a little more about the elephants before gathering up some bananas and cane sugar.
1.30pm. Follow your guide through the forest and watch the elephants resting up in the hills, and discover the free-roaming elephants in a safe, sustainable and ethical environment. Your guide will tell you about each elephant’s individual stories.
Walk with the elephants down from the hill. You will learn about their lifestyle and behaviors.
3 pm.Watching the wildlife animals play in the mud and bathe in the ponds by themselves and you will learn from our experienced tour guide with our elephants.
Finally, enjoy a delicious set menu lunch and a dish from the Thai Cooking Class together with seasonal fresh fruits before heading back to your hotel.

Out of this world - OMG
What can I say, a trip of a lifetime, up close with the elephants. Each one has their own keeper and you can see the bond they have with them, they are all well kept and all seem so happy free roaming on their land.
Firstly we had a cooking class, then some lovely food. Afterwards we collected some food for the elephants and walked into the land to look for some elephants to feed them, after about 30 minutes of so we walked back to the lake for an opportunity to wash them.
They rely on money from tourists to keep going and to be able to save more elephants. Some have come from shows, some from riding places... If you are able to take extra funds to leave in the donation box please do.

Highlight of our trip! - The highlight of our trip and we have been to Australia, Bali and Singapore. Dang is very informative and you can see how much love is shared between all the elephants and their caregivers. Highly recommend this tour!

Experience of a life time - They are so kind and knowledgeable about the Elephants. This was the best experience of our trip…… so majestic to see them in their natural environment. Lunch was amazingly and lear I g to cook a dish was fun.

Awesome interaction with elephants - Our guide was so sensitive to the needs of the elephants and respecting nature. It was an intimate look at elephants and actually being able to be with the elephants. And the cooking/lunch at the end was delicious.

Incredible Experience - Incredible day loved this elephant sanctuary. From arriving at the sanctuary we were given information about the elephants 🐘 then we had lunch and then prepared the food for the elephants. Once we were ready to leave to feed the elephants, we were greeted by them and fed them which was cool and we walked with them. To top this trip off we was also able to wash and bathe with them which was amazing. Would highly recommend.

A wonderful experience - A great bucket list experience hanging out with these majestic animals for a few hours and feeding and bathing them. The cooking class and enjoyable lunch were two great extra bonuses.

lovely and ethical - He really cares for his beautiful elephants like they are his own family and it is wonderful to see. The elephants get fed and bathed in this hot weather which is exactly what they need.

A must to do in Phuket - Our guide was a man called mr yu he was grate told us all about the park and where thay rescued the elephants from very interesting and so moving if anyone comes to Phuket you just have to go what a great day one of the best since coming I really recommend it fantastic people it’s was an excellent day

Best day ever! - Amazing memories! Our guide Dong (sp) was knowledgeable and thorough explaining the elephants and how they came to the nursery. Aoy and Mo No Lia were the sweetest ladies, they are gentle and lovely. Feeding and bathing the elephants was a dream come true! Best experience in my 3 visits to Thailand. I highly recommend this tour and I’ll be back next time I’m in Thailand!
