Superb tour with fantastic guides! - Seamless tour operator! From the moment I booked Evandro was in contact! On the day we got picked up from our hotel, drove to the Riu sister hotel and picked up the other vehicle and passengers. First stop was sand boarding, with spectacular views of the coastline. Second stop was turtles where we were lucky enough to see a few bobbing around. Third stop was sharks, again we were lucky enough to see some fins of lemon sharks. Fourth stop was the oldest village we sampled some local grogue and food delights! Plus a toilet break! Then a little history lesson and a walk round. Then back to the hotel. If you sit in the back of the pick up, I would recommend you take a face covering/scarf and shades if you don’t want to get sand, dust, dry eyes! Definately don’t forget water and sun cream! It was a really fantastic 1/2 day trip which was just enough for a 17 and 11 year old!

Best Experience without doubt!! - Well, first visit to Cape Verde, booked this as was highly recommended before we left, and was not a disappointment. OK, nature dictated. We didn't manage to see the sharks really, but that's Nature!!! Everything else was great, Sandboarding was so fun, Turtles were about , Grogue tasting was something else although pure Grogue was just fire water 🤣🤣, but was a great laugh and many more than you think so be prepared!!!!!! Chris the driver was fun taking us off road, Fredy the guide was awesome, informative, polite, looked out for the kids, would deffo recommend to anyone and our youngest said he is 100% coming back when he is 18 to see Fredy and try Grogue 😀 we will 100% be back!!!!! Thanks from us all

10/10!! - We had an amazing day, sand boarding on untouched sand with an incredible view over the water 😍 the next stop was spotting turtles, which definitely didn’t disappoint! We then went onto seeing the baby sharks. Fortunately was able to dip our feet in and see them closer. We stopped at a local restaurant, had a few snacks and tasted some local spirts. A few offered were enough to take the hairs off your chest 😅 Fredy and Christian then drove us to the old town, was lovely to see local culture and hear about the schools and way of life. We had the option to browse the local souvenir shop where we purchased some gifts. We were very fortunate to have Fredy and Cristian as our guides! My sister and another group member in the other 4x4, fell unwell, all the team were very accommodating and ensured they were ok! 🥰 I couldn’t recommend these two and the trip more! It’s worth every penny 😁🤩 (I won’t ruin it by adding photos)

Amazing opportunity to experience the culture and history of the island - Freddy our tour guide was amazing from pick up to drop off. We raced through the sand dunes in the 4x4 stopping to sand board which was great fun. Although be prepared for a good leg work out on the way back up! We travelled along the coast to see turtles swimming along with juvenile lemon sharks, all from safety of a cliff edge and non intrusive to the wildlife. We stopped off at small village where we experienced local drinks (I’d recommend a hearty breakfast to soak up the alcohol!) with some delicious home cooked snacks. We then explored the village, learning its history and more about the islands of Cape Verde. All in all a 3-4 hour round trip but well worth the time and money to explore and learn from the locals.

Well worth it! Fredy is the star of the show! - We had a great time on this excursion! We went as a group of 4 and were joined by another couple. We got picked up from our hotel in a pick up truck, which was a great experience sitting in the back! Our first stop was the Sanderson which was great fun, we managed to get a few runs in before our time was up! A word of warning, 3 of our group are aged 27 or under, and we could only manage 3 turns as it’s very hard work getting up the dunes! So not for the faint hearted. We then went onto turtle bay, where we saw two young Green Turtles feeding! Our next stop was shark bay where we saw about half a dozen baby Lemon Sharks! On the day we went, the water was quite murky but we still managed to see a fair few sharks! Our last stop was a small village where we were supplied with some local dishes and was shown around the village where there are some souvenir shops. Most of the travel to and from each destination is off road so it can be a bumpier ride! That brings me onto our driver, Carlos! He drove very safely navigating through the dunes and didn’t go too fast when we were on the back of the pick up truck! However the star of the show was Fredy! He was friendly, funny and instantly made us feel at ease! He was very easy to talk to and was always up for a laugh! So thank you to Fredy and Carlos for making our trip so memorable! A great trip spent with great people!

The best trip of our visit to Boa Vista. - I was a bit hesitant to begin with as we were on a TUI holiday and this was a tour separate from them. However I really wanted to see the turtles and this tour was not offered by TUI so we decided to just go for it and I am so pleased we did. From booking online we received confirmation and was able to communicate via WhatsApp so knew who was picking us up from the hotel and when. The driver didn’t really speak English so we thought we were not going to enjoy the day but once we met up with other trucks we found the guide who spoke English and was very good and knowledgeable at each stop. The first stop was to go sand boarding and this was just the best fun ever. It was brilliant going down but hard work walking back up again. They suggest you take your shoes off but we went in trainers which I found easier to walk in. You can get a bit sandy so wear something you don’t mind getting a bit dirty. After that we went to spot the turtles which is what I particularly wanted to see and they were amazing, you have to really watch out for them as they are in the distance and tiny but you get to see them as they come up to breathe. From there we went to see the Lemon sharks which was the highlight of my day and we were able to go down and stand in the water and they swam right by us, this was the best experience ever. The trip was finished off by visiting a restaurant to try some of their alcoholic shots, coffee, passion fruit, coconut to name a few but there was also orange juice if you are not a drinker and also a good time for a toilet break. We then walked round the village and was ideal if you wanted to buy any souvenirs. After being hesitant to begin with I am so pleased we booked. This has by far been the best out of all the trips we booked while we were in Boa Vista and seeing the turtles and sharks really made my day. Thank you so much especially to the staff on the tour who were fantastic.
