Highlights
- Via Statale, 93 - You will learn how to make an Italian home cooked meal effortless, but more importantly you will have a beautiful afternoon with views of the lake as you enjoy delicious food and wines.
What your experience will entail:
-You will enjoy with a special aperitivo on arrival
- You will cook a full 3 course with me and at the end of the class you will eat what you created
- You will taste local wine
- Coffee will be served with desert
- You will be given the notes on the ingredients and instructions used in the cooking class
We do have vegetarian options for those interested and if your group is large enough if there is an specific techniques or skills you wish to learn these can be accommodated too.

- Melanzane parmigiana - A traditional italian dish, featuring layers of eggplant, rich tomato sauce, and melted cheese, offering a comforting explosion of flavors.
- Spinach and ricotta raviolis - Make your own raviolis by hand from scratch using organic ingredients, creating a perfect blend of freshness and indulgence.
- Tiramisu - I promise you will make the lightest , most wonderful tiramisu you have ever eaten. I will also share details of a strawberry and christmas version
Additional Information
Exquisite private area, boasting breathtaking vistas of the lake. We cater to a maximum of 6 guests per class, ensuring a cozy and personalized experience. Our expansive kitchen, tailor-made for cooking lessons, provides a secure space for cooking and working. You’ll receive hands-on instruction and pick up numerous techniques for preparing an original Italian 3 course dinner. We offer two comfy lounge areas for use before or after your lesson, perfect for savoring a welcome drink or coffee, along with a dining space to relish the fruits of our lesson.

Enchanting food experience - The event was well organized, unhurried and a delight from start to finish. First came a welcome with delicious snacks and prosecco, in a room with 180 degrees view of the lake in the host's fabulous apartment (former convent). Then preparation of a three course meal, with beautiful fresh ingredients and lovely tools/workstations, in a gorgeous open kitchen. The teaching was clear and I was amazed that we were able to prepare such sophisticated yet simple dishes. The meal was paired with lovely wine and consumed with much banter and discussion of the recipes, the ingredients, the local cuisine, the history of the local nook of the lake, and much more. Hats off to the host and her helper, they were gracious and clearly inspired to share their passion for Italian cuisine.

A fun and appetizing day in Lake Como - A very tasteful and fun experience! Genevieve and her assistant Karen do an amazing job making the class fun and telling the history of the area as you prepare, cook and enjoy the food you make. You will not leave hungry and you will learn some great recipes and cooking tips. The location and views from her amazing house are stunning. I would highly recommend that you add this to your Lake Como itinerary!

Great Time! - Genevieve was a wonderful host! The apartment was a perfect backdrop to an entertaining class that was filled with good food and people. For anyone looking to do a cooking class in Como, Lake Como Kitchen is your best option.

Best Cooking Class Experience - We were greeted and received warmly into Genevieve’s beautiful home. The whole experience was delightful and the food was delicious! I would highly recommend to my friends and do again myself!

Food and Fun - A great experience. So much fun and even though we cooked it, it tasted amazing. We enjoyed the conversations around the kitchen table with great wine and people. If you go to Lake Como, your trip will not be complete without enjoying the food and great time at Lake Como Kitchen.

Wonderful cooking and dining experience! - First, the chef's home was gorgeously renovated and decorated. A bottle of champagne and a full tray of delicious appetizers greeted us. Our hostesses gave us a little history of the home (previously a convent) & the area. My husband never cooks, so I let him make the homemade spinach and ricotta ravioli in a browned sage butter. It was the best pasta dish I've ever had! We also prepared a chicken parmesan with a tomato sauce full of fresh herbs. We were served different wines and prosecco as we enjoyed the dishes we prepared. We finished with the tiramisu we put together. It was very fun, the hostesses were delightful and the environment was relaxing and beautiful. I highly recommend this activity while at Lake Como!

Cooking like a true Italian - This was the highlight of our stay at Lake Como, it was an amazing experience. Genevieve and Karin made us feel like part of the family, cooking together in the heart of a beautiful home. We learnt so much, highly, highly recommended.
