Wonderful Oman - Mohamed was a wonderful guide, he followed us with professionalism, patience, attentive to our needs, pampering us: from umbrella to snacks. It took us to observe fantastic places from cliffs, beaches, archaeological sites at sunset in the desert

Fantastic trip, wonderful and knowledgeable guide - We had a fantastic trip organised by Mohammed. Our guide and driver, Salim, picked us up from our hotel right on time in a very comfortable, air-conditioned and clean Toyota Land Cruiser. He was a very good driver and a knowledgeable guide. We started with a visit to Wadi Dawkah to see the frankincense trees. Here, Salim gave us some very interesting insights into these venerable trees. We were then taken to a camel farm to see some black camels. The highlight of this farm visit must surely be the sight of a two-week old baby camel and his interaction with his mum when she was being milked. A tender experience! However, the piece de resistance of the trip is the finale, where we were driven into the Empty Quarter and experienced being driven up and down the sand dunes. Then we trekked up the dunes and waited for sunset. Needless to say, the sunset was sublime and the experience, stupendous. All in all, we had a very enjoyable day with a most likeable and knowledgeable guide. Unlike many other tours, lunch was not forced on us. In this heat, one does not wish to have a heavy lunch especially when travelling. Salim provided us with some very delicious dates and Arabic coffee (made by his wife!) which was the ideal snack.

Fascinated, in love with the places we visited. I still have to go! I was in the desert for the first time and I will go - I was in the desert for the first time, an amazing experience, it's hard to describe the beauty in words and even if many pictures were taken, I don't know if I can reproduce the beauty and the spectacular sand dunes.

Camels, frankincense, history and desert: all in 1. - Very nice tour, a must do in Salalah. Mohamed is really friendly and helpful. All stop-over are well planned. Our highlights were the visit at the camel farm with fresh camel milk to drink and some baby-camel to see. Of course the second highlight is the desert sunset :-) Absolutely recommended .

Spectacular sunset in the desert with safe and friendly escort - Uncomplicated booked we were picked up by Mohammed at the hotel at 1 pm and started our tour: via the incense trail to the Lost City, visiting the dromedaries (we saw a three-hour-old dromedary) to the highlight of the tour: the sunset in the desert! Simply spectacular and unique! Mohammed told us a lot about his country and brought us safely back to the hotel. Thank you!!!

Best Human Guide - We took this trip to the Empty Quadruple Desert in Oman with Mohammed to see the sunset. We visited some tourist spots like the Dock Valley there. We saw the trees of Lebanon, then we went to the State of Tharait, which is on the road leading to the desert. There Mohamed invited us to drink coffee and tea, which he locally calls the Sunset. We then went to the Lost City of O'Bour, which is the most beautiful sight we saw in our lives.

Pure adrenaline! - As a summer destination I decided to opt for Oman, and I left with my family for a 13-day stay in Salalah. The excursion we decided to do and that seemed unmissable was the one in the desert at sunset. We contacted Aziz, an Omani guy who works for Dhofar Sas trips and we arranged for this tour that left in the afternoon at 1:30 pm and returned in the evening around 9:00 pm. The price for three people was in Omani cash rial about 170 and included the explanation of the production of incense with a stop on site, meeting in the field with camels and sunset over the desert dunes with a typical drink accompanied by biscuits and finally lots of fun. I fully recommend it. Wow what satisfaction, and so much adrenaline!!! Thank you Oman and Aziz for this amazing adventure.
