A great experience - The tour was really interesting and went to parts of Salamanca that we would not have been to without a guide. The tour guide knew his stuff and his English was very good. We find having a private guide is much better than large groups even though it is a bit more expensive.

A Perfect Introduction to Salamanca - Derek was a great guide
We were given a relaxed tour covering all the major sites in the old city. He also provided historical perspective so you got a taste of how Salamanca featured in Spanish history. If you are a first time visitor it’s well worth spending the money on this tour to familiarise your self with this lovely ancient seat of learning.

Local knowledge for tapping into the soul of Salamanca - Our guide Noemí is a local and she gave us a custom tour of Salamanca that we will never forget. From seeing Salamanca from across the river after the storm, to finding the frog on the school at the university and the astronaut at the cathedral facade, the tour was full of insights, history and stories. The cherry on top was finding La Tuna rehearsing at a bar in the students district. Truly recommended.

Best way to see Salamanca - It was more than just a sight seeing tour. Our guide Deborah was lovely and made our tour of Salamanca very special through her eyes as a student of the university. She took us to all corners of the old town of Salamanca and showed us the city through her eyes. We highly recommend this tour! We hope you get Deborah. She was absolutely delightful.

Delightful - Débora was an absolute treasure. She was friendly and approachable. She tailored the tour to suit my interests. And she was happy to help me with my Spanish, which I really appreciated. Highly, highly recommend!

Alexia is the best guide!!! - This is a fantastic tour especially as it is with a local person. Alexi was brilliant, she really knew her stuff. We walked through the city absolutely enthralled. Would definitely recommend this experience.

Not recommended - avoid Lokafy - I do not recommend this provider or this service. We got paired with "a local" but he didn't have any knowledge about the city other than the location of the main sites on Google Maps. He had to use their phone when we asked them questions. He also asked to cut the tour short, which we chose to do because he wasn't making it interesting. I asked for a partial refund which the provider Lokafy refused.

Complete disaster - It was the worst experience in our life(4 of us) w/tour guides.
Besides that our tour guide, young woman, spoke very bad English she did not know basic history of Salamanca.
For example she said that new cathedral was built in the beginning of 20 century!!!
We paid more than $200 for walking around Salamanca w/her.
And we think that it’s fault of the company not this young woman.
I will never use them and will try to do my best to convince everybody who wants to use them not to.

Guide was a no show - Brenda our guide never showed up and did not respond to multiple calls from me or the parent company. Still waiting for a refund
