Fun, informative, with a unique spin!! - The tour was informative, interesting, and fun. Our guide, Rebecca, was personable, engaging, and did an excellent job of providing accurate details. It was evident that she is passionate about the history, culture, and unique elements of Salem's history. We would definitely go on more of her tours!!

A New Tour for visitors to enjoy! - This tour was offered for free to try out a new topic. Unlike historical or ghost tours this one concentrated on how popular culture impacted Salem (and vice versa) since the 1970s. Rebecca was an excellent guide, covering the topic in an informative and also interesting way. I think the pop culture tour would be a good addition to their lineup and I hope it will be continued throughout October.

Something Different - I've taken Historical and Scary Tours in Salem and have enjoyed them. This had a different take on the city. Kid friendly, talking about popular culture and the history of how Salem became known as the Witch City and the place to visit for Halloween.

Pop culture’s response to the Salem Witch Hysteria . - Last night I experienced a new fresh take on Salem’s affinity for all things Halloween. Our tour guide connected the dots from the 1600’s to present day through the experience of ever changing societal influences. This is my hometown and today Essex Street looks so different to me as I contemplate the very human need to face the fear of evil. It’s so very very interesting to me to uncover the ongoing legacy of the Puritan religion in our own present day. This was a smart, informative and yes even occasionally funny tour. I would highly recommend if your interest is in understanding and exploring the intersection between historical trauma and present day experience.

Witch hysteria- a fresh take for locals and visitors alike - Loved this fresh take on Salem's witch hysteria history! Good research (not made up speculation) paints an evolving picture of how locals have processed this tragedy over the past 300+ years, and shared it with the world. Thoughtful and informative details connect 1800's souvenirs, 1970's television and 2010's video gaming art while strolling a couple of the oldest squares, alleys and the cobblestone thoroughfare. Particularly appreciated the shorter than typical duration; only 75 minutes, sets you up for personal exploration of this very walkable town. A great tour for both locals and visitors. In a town awash in performative misinformation, this tour and this company stand out.
