An afternoon in Salem - It was a cold and rainy day but we were captivated by Tour leader Ken. He was an excellent guide with lots of stories and history. He answered all of our questions. We are retired history teachers so some of our questions weren’t those of the usual tourist. Ken handled them well. We all had an enjoyable afternoon.

Touring Salem with... - Touring Salem with Kenneth was an incredible experience! He was not only friendly but also extremely knowledgeable about the town and its rich history. He gave us plenty of time to explore, ensuring we got a well-rounded and memorable introduction to Salem! Would highly recommend!!

Amazing history lesson! - This was such a wonderful experience! My sister and I got lucky and had Kenneth to ourselves for our tour. We saw several sights and Kenneth had an answer for most if not all of our questions and history to share throughout. He is a great storyteller and also gave us some space to explore some of the sights on our own. You can tell he loves to share the history of this lovely town, beyond the obvious facts. We had a great time and highly recommend!

Kenneth went above and beyond! - Kenneth was so informative and nice! We truly felt comfortable with him and he went above and beyond to answer questions and give us time to see things on our own before coming back to the group. He also brought some of his own trinkets and antique pieces to show us that went along with the history of what he was teaching us. That really showed me how much he loves his job and that he really enjoys the history. He sang for us as well which was just beautiful and he brought us candy at the end of the tour and he took a little longer than the tour allotted for. I love that the tour was not just about the Witch Trials, but of history in Salem in general. Thanks again, Kenneth! We appreciate it so much! A huge highlight of our stay in Salem :)

Knowledge and Professional - Kenneth was great! Very knowledgeable. Answered all guests questions. Ensured we were away from the crowds and always knew where the bathrooms were. There is more standing than walking so if you're not used to being on your feet a small camp chair wouldn't hurt.

A history focused tour of Salem. - Ken was an amazing guide and left me with a feeling that he enjoys his job immensely and wants to make sure that nothing is left out. A great experience and I’d enjoy a tour with him again at any time.

This is a must do in Salem! - We traveled to Salem on Saturday October 26th and booked Kenneth’s tour on a whim the day before after reading fantastic reviews. We were looking for something that would appeal to our group of 5 adults and 3 teenagers that held a mix of fun ghostly stories as well as factual historical information. Finding Kenneth outside of the meeting spot was no problem. The tour kicked off in a fun way by traveling through the streets singing in order to “stun” the crowd and easily move through. The first half of the tour was primarily historical information regarding the settling of Salem. The second half is what I feel was what really captured our attention. Kenneth escorted us through all the ins and outs of Salem neighbors to the point we did not realize how busy the area was until after the 3 hour (yes he gave us more time!) tour. We were stunned when we walked back down to the downtown and saw how busy the day had become. Kenneth did a fantastic job of avoiding the crowds. He took us too all the famous sites, allowed us to ask as many questions as possible and even gave us time to explore in certain areas before meeting back up. The three teenagers we were with couldn’t stop talking about everything they had learned on the ride home! Kenneth thought of everything! He included candy at the end of the tour from Ye Olde Pepper Company, as well as refunded us for two individuals who could not come due to sudden illness. He even brought us to two bathroom stops depending on the needs of the group. The group size was about 15 give or take. Half the size of some of the other tours. Nobody was left behind and everyone was able to hear and engage if needed. You can tell he has a fantastic relationship with various historic sites as several made concessions for his group only to come on site and explore. Fantastic day! Completely walkable tour for all ages and abilities. I’d contest it was also wheelchair accessible though some of the cobblestone may be challenging however that is the charm of Salem. I only noted that as we had someone who didn’t end up coming as she was afraid we wouldn’t be able to wheel her, however now we know that it would be incredibly easy to do so in most areas.
